The bag states that it's kosher even for Pesach (even when it's washed in a chometz utensils?)
BTW- One is not permitted to use products distributed by J&R produce, as they have affixed kosher certification stickers on product that they knew was infested, therefore one may not purchase from the even a kosher product,

its not possible to sell whole heads of lettuce without telling the people to rinse it off , because of the flies. the hashgocho is that there isnt any other issues like aphids , mites etc.

i just spoke to a mashgiach friend of mine , he works for the nirbator . he told me that the nirbator has a group of about 10-15 mashgichim that are mumchim in bedikas toloim that have been working in ecuador for the past 3 years on the very succesful greenhouse grown eden broccoli and califlour products,together with the mumchim from alei katif in e"y. b"h everybody has been complimenting these products,for the kashrus and quality. these same mashgichim and mumchim are the ones in charge of the alim rommain lettuce , j&r is only the distributor they have nothing to do with the growing or the kashrus.

Im a Flatbush Yid who became a customer of meat from a company called SUPERGLATT. Under the Hoshgocha of rabbi Spiegel from monsey. i was looking for real mehadrin shchita and was told this was it. I know a while back you blogged against it but i had heard so many vaadim approved it that i thought perhaps this time you were wrong.(sorry!) Anyway i bought meat through the these past yomtovim(grassfed meat is really quite tasty) i was so impressed with the product i was telling a friend about it. he said he knew the owner a yid by the name of Reven Sharf i asked my friend to give me the owners number so i could wish him a yasher koach on his product. i called mr. sharf and he told me stuff that shook me in my shoes. firstly he said that he had stopped production of superglatt and dismissed the services of rabbi Spiegel and his hoshgocha after LAST SHAVUOS!.He would not tell me why he stopped producing or why he got rid of rabbi Spiegel saying there was no toelos to it and that it was personal business of his. He also told me the meat that i bought that was produced through the summer and for the yomtovim were produced without his consent to use his company name and told me he had no responsibility for the kahsrus or quality of this counterfitted product. i asked who did it? he told me that he had been informed by a brooklyn vaad that rabbi spiegel was doing it on his own. he said he was pursuing legal action due to unauthorized use of his corporate name but it would take a long time through court to stop such productions. Yudel firstly can you find out if what this sharf says is true. and i have 3 questions regarding this meat if it is true.
1) Can someone be the owner and the hechsher in shichita?
2)If the Hechsher was involved in corporate fraud in this way does that affect the kashrus?
3) how come all the vaadim that know about this and dont even accept a rav yachid will allow such a product to be sold under theyre noses?

Eggs in the Metro area come from farms in Texas, Georgia, Florida & from the Amish in Pensylvania. The ones from the Amish have a big concern, they have "zichurim" there & the chicken also are free roaming. A blood spot from those eggs are "ossur". The other ones are considered usually "sufnah".

A kahl iz a kahl, no difference in hotels, factories, toluyim, any hashgocha work. The fact that one is loved by the crew, the company, the caterer, etc is a minus not a plus.
