Norman Lamm vus ruft unzerreh "cavemen" said a couple of years ago that he is waiting for the day that it is acceptable for women to be made rabbis.
Yosef Blau with his soft spot for giving gays a voice.
Shmuel Goldin who wants to change the RCA issur on allowing shuls to hire rabbis from Avi Weiss talmidim.
Shmuel Hain. The guy pushing for women to be magidei shiur on Gemara.
Haskell Lookstein who didn't wear a yarmulka beshita when attending the opera. He also holds gerim don't need kabolas mitzvos.
Moses Tendler. Need i say more?
Steven Weil, the left wing tyrant from the OU. Find out how many people he threw out of shuls where he was the rabbi if he felt a political threat.
Aaron Rakeffet who changed his name from the less Tzioni sounding Arnold Rothkopf. Claims to be a talmid of R' Aron Kotler because he hung around BMG one summer.
Some of these YU rabbis are tremendous lamdonim that most Lakewood yungerleit do not come close to but they are fort extremely krum. One of them is a doctor of philosophy from Hebrew University. That's the shnit they are.
Can't quite get the handle on the $3M you are talking about. It seems that you have an issue with someone giving $3M to a qualified rosh hayeshiva. Did he take money for a dining room and make it into a bais medrash? Does he take money claiming his yungerleit are being trained to work when they don't? Does he tell people to vote for people who are against Torah values so he can get more money or good land deals? Moshe Rabeinu also collected money and he also had people calling him a thief. You say it is in the IRS filings, so that means no one is hiding it. As far as the EJF was concerned, with a great mechila to the rabbonim you mention, the "bigger" gedolim were all for it. Unfortunately, one man's ta'avos brought it down. What does that have to do with the people who had connections to him? I think you are just a halacha hater. You can't understand how there is a Torah with laws. You want to pasul everyone so you make more chumros and more chumros. You are a product of the "new" Jews. You and Jeremy Stern both want to remake the Torah. The ironic thing is you both have the Kotlers reinventing it with you. :-). Face the facts, the fight here is about people who know halacha fighting the people who want to dictate halacha. Emes will ultimately reign.
Can't get a handle is right. Which part did you not understand that R' Reuvein distorted his own father's psak on gerus? R' Moishe assered reaching out to do kiruv on intermarrieds. It is only mutter if they come to you. R' Reuvein would not have been given the $3 million at that stage if he didn't distort the psak for Tropper.
When Tropper was giving the free vacations in 5 star hotels to all the roshei yeshiva & rabbonim to go along with this, many of them saw through the sheker & stopped associating with EJF. This includes R' Reuvein's older brother R' Dovid.
I will not use this however to defend the Kotlers because R' Elya Ber who joined the Kotlers against R' Reuvein is also taking the tainted money from Tropper & Kaplan.
Rav Bloch and Rav Sternbuch do not shter zich to speak against this befarhesya. Many others have pleaded privately with Tropper's supporters in the rabbonus to cease & desist.
R' Reuvein finally put out a letter against Tropper when Tropper disobeyed the beis din and squandered all of Kol Yaakov's money by writing checks to roshei yeshiva to make sure that Berney & Stefansky wouldn't get any money. During this round, R' Reuvein was not one of the recipients so he had nothing to lose by finally coming out against Tropper.
It doesnt suprise me at all that Lakewood/BMG Would join up with ORA/Yeshiva university if you speak to Dayanim and Rabbonim in the tri state area they will tell you Lakewood is a very Liberal/Feminist town Lakewood allways sticks up for the woman after just listening to one side of the story any woman in Lakewood can call the police on her Husband have him arrested or get a Restraining order against him which is vey easy in the State of NJ when ever she wants with full support of the Rabbonim in town (especially Gavriel Finkel as in the Dr Kaweblum case)I cannot BLame Weiss and Harav Reuven feinstien Shlita for not trusting the Kotlers/Lakewood/BMG considering that Rav Malkiels Uncle is R Gavriel Finkel who heads Bais Din Vaad Hadayonim here in Lakewood
I will again say to you that your rambling is nothing but sour grapes about the ejf. The ejf started and still exists with many prominent rabanim. You seem to be set against trooper and I am not defending him. However your own comments show that both Feinstein brothers were part of the essence and formation of the ejf. You are saying that all the rabbis dropped their support when the money stopped flowing. You don't want to admit that the rabbis were all behind the ejf and had no issues with the psakim of the past generation. You have bad mouthed all the rabbonim because you have an issue with your yidishkeit. If a rav got money for knowing rich people then all the power to them. Is it wrong to take money given to you ? You are probably on all programs illegally and probably don't report your income so.you can't handle honest people. The people who left the ejf did so because of the spokesman not the message or foundation. Reb reuven couldn't leave without having the whole thing fall apart. You wanted it to fall apart so you hate him. But he is smarter than you and he saw it still had a purpose. So please go back to your hole in Lakewood and please pull some of your people in with you.
Reb Yudel, I'm surprised at you, you usually are much more careful checking what you post. This letter is an obvious forgery, besides the names of the Baalei-Din [nu nu you say], it also gets the name of Getora wrong, "Ora" stands for "The Organization for Resolution of Agunot" not as this letter states "The Organization for Releif of Agunot". Just saying try to be intellectually honest!!!
"Rabbi" Marc Angel, the chaver of Haskel Lookstein:
"Married women need not cover their hair, as long as their hair is maintained in a modest style. The wearing of wigs does not constitute a proper hair-covering for those married women who wish to cover their hair. Rather, such women should wear hats or other head coverings that actually cover their hair.”
"Some of these YU rabbis are tremendous lamdonim that most Lakewood yungerleit do not come close to but they are fort extremely krum"
And one of the ORA rabbis here is on Artscroll's team for Talmud Yerushalmi. This from the same Nosson Scherman who always claims to shy away from things controversial.
Yeah, I don't think that Dr. Norman Lamm would sign a letter praising Charedi roshei yeshiva. Since he left Torah Vodaas as a kid he has tried to move as far away as possible from the yeshivishe velt.

Just saying try to be intellectually honest!!! - you make an excellent point. however, i have seen people associated with the organization do the same thing but i doubt jeremy would do it. however, i saw the actual letter and it was written on what looked like ora stationary but someone may have put it together. it would be wild if someone went to all that work just to make a mistake like that. however, ora, while not ackowledging if it is behind the letter is defiately not denying it and the letter has sent the kotlers running for cover. kind of dumb, in my humble opinion, to send out krupenia, reich and schustal but whatever mommy wants. i have done some checking into this, only some, but the rabbis that signed (kaminetzky, greenblatt and vachfogel) were completely against this rally. well, i guess reb malkiel was for it - but he is a relative. i have also heard from the grapevine that the civil case is nearing completion and that no bais din in the country is going to touch this case with a mile long pole. unfortunately we may be watching a young woman and man sitting no where for a while. of course, he could go for a heter meah.....................
ORA showcases the hypocrisy of OU, YU & Young Israel. When they like an idea it doesn't matter if a young activist shnuk like Jeremy puts it together to make himself choshev. When they don't like an idea because Avi Weiss is competition, they tell everyone not to pay attention to Tav Hayosher from Weiss's talmidim because they are just a bunch of silly "kids trying to put themselves on the map", as Hershel Billet put it.
Yes, "sour grapes" is accurate but for a different reason, because when R' Reuvein distorts the psak of his own father, especially when it has such huge ramifications for Klal Yisroel, he is choimetz ben yayin, the sour vinegary product of grapes.
Either you have trouble reading or you are trying to put words in my mouth. R' Dovid Feinstein & many other rabbonim came to EJF events at the beginning because they were invited and were duped by Tropper's false claims that he works in accordance with the poskei hador, of this dor and last. When they realized it was a sheker, they stopped coming & associating. They stopped early on when they certainly could have continued receiving a lot of money from Tropper & Kaplan. R' Reuvein only came out against Tropper after receiving millions (who knows what else besides the $3 million noted in a public filing) and when it was clear that Tropper had turned off the flow of money to him.
The fact that you make such outlandish accusations of welfare fraud etc against people like me who expose the EJF fraud makes you suspect. We have seen your types around the internet before. Some of you have been unmasked as either on the EJF payroll or because you married someone that Tropper converted.
Norman Lamm is thrilled to praise charedi roshei yeshiva for coming over to his side of the fence. That has been his goal since his torah vadaas days, to bring the yeshivas to the left. As a side point, all these "rabbis" didn't sign this letter, they are just mentioned as those who support the organization. Perhaps they will now add rabbi malkiel kotler, rabbi david shustal, rabbi shea krupenia and rabbi uren reich to their list. The kotlers have really reached a new low. I'm embarrased to admit that I learn in BMG.
ORA with Hershel Shlechter present was mevazeh R' Shloyma Blumenkrantz because they didn't like a psak he issued that wasn't pro-feminist enough. The ORA mob stood outside his house screaming insults at him. When an elderly man in a wheelchair came to visit R' Shloyma, the ORA mob started insulting him and calling him a faker who pretends to be handicapped.
I think it might have been Pesach Lerner who mocked Tav Hayosher, not Hershel Billett. Hershel Billett is the one who will not tolerate any RCA rabbi criticizing Rubashkin. The RCA has an intranet with member rabbi access only and when someone criticizes Rubashkin, Billett goes on the warpath against them in that system. He's one of the muscle men who the OU uses to silence dissent and democratic free speech.
Next time some idiot claims that Dayan Gestetner in Monsey is "not recognized", there is a file available with haskomos on him from all kinds of gedolim.
One letter that is of particular interest is the one from Rav Wosner where he praises Dayan Gestetner's sefer "Toras Imecha" on not teaching Gemara to women, since in Rav Wosner's words this is a big problem today.
No wonder these ORA bahaimos who are into teaching Gemara to women are so quick to attack Dayan Gestetner.

Wow. Finally the truth.

From your comment it is obvious that your understanding of that sentence is out of context.
