Unless they worked on Chol-Hamoed for after Yom Tov.
We know the OU doesn't allow that.
We don't know how Bodek's other certifiers allow to work on Chol Hamoed?

yudel dont u think u should first find out if indeed they worked chol hamoed or maybe they had produce in storage and put later dates on it?? I know that doesnt sound right but the fact is that that is done. You owe it to them and to your own neshama to ask mechila
You mean Belsky hasn't green lighted that it's hefsid merubeh if food service doesn't have their Bodek ready to use the second Simchas Torah is over? Besides that fressing has a din of tzorchei Klal.
There is a technology available going back decades that might work to keep lettuce fresh from before Yomtov. I know someone who once preserved an esrog in perfect condition until the next year by placing it in a vacuum pack device. He took the esrog 11 months later to R' Dovid Schochet, talmid of R' Aron Kotler, to ask if he could use it again. R' Dovid told him it's ok in ikker din but it's not mehuder. But if any large scale manufacturer like Bodek is going to claim they have industrial size vacuum packs, the whole process has to be closely monitored by mashgichim to make sure there is no cheating with regular production.
SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. — Authorities say a 62-year-old employee was cooked to death at a Southern California seafood plant for tuna maker Bumble Bee Foods.
The Whittier Daily News reports Jose Melena was found Thursday shortly before 7 a.m. at the plant in Santa Fe Springs.
California Division of Occupational Safety and Health spokeswoman Erika Monterroza says it’s unclear how the man ended up inside a cooking device called a “steamer machine.”
The state department has launched an investigation into the accident.
In a written statement, Bumble Bee Foods spokesman Pat Menke expressed condolences to Melena’s family and says operations at the canning facility will be suspended at the plant until Monday.
Have a little sympathy for poor Bodek. Do you know what it's like to run a heimishe food gesheft? All you hear from customers a gantz tog is "IS IT FRRRRESH?"
Bodek Strawberries are still being sold despite the fact the leading Kashrus agencies have banned them as a result of the thrip problem. The answer with this question and the Chol hamoed question of production for after yom Tov is that Itzu Flick takes his 30% commission for his hechsher hisachdus harrabunim. O.U does not want to figure fight hisachdus for need them for business. It is a this that the Udvari Rav Z'TL said Bodek vet zan Butel.

One of major the cholov Yisroel dairies dumped a Skverrer hashgocho for R' Usher Eckstein of Belz.
There is also a new dairy on the scene called Hatov under 'Sachdis.
'sachdus get a hashgucha oif bodek, abee min tzolt gelt, is yom tof a gantz yuhr.
MK from Canada also gives a hashgocha on bodek
The OU is one of the hashgochos that hires female mashgichos. Sounds like Bumble Bee had a case of noshim rachmoniyos ...
