*UPDATE: Can't blame KCL for this one-"But"?

Can't blame KCL for this one, but how often does it happen under their noses?
The other day at a seudah for a Bris, a KCL caterer set up a full michig spread, cream cheese, milk, etc.

The waitors also put down on the tables "cold-cut" platters (fleishig) till someone told the waitors these tables are dairy, you can't put meat platters.

The waitors removed them and put them at the milchig coffee station table instead.

The Baal-simcha provided the platters not the caterer. The caterer's waitors did not know how to deal with this type of situation.

This is so common that a kashrus certifier should have in place "guidelines" for this type of scenario.
No it's not acceptable to cover youreself with the "we don't allow any family or friends to bring in anything", as it is a seudas mitzvah, & an arangement must be made to accomodate the obvious.

The waiters should have asked the shvartza from the night shift what to do. He is a mumche who can handle salami and other deli meats with acrobatic precision.

I MADE A BAR MITZVAH last week and kcl sent a bochur to be a mashgiach and he was eating the whole time like a pig!

Why would a baal simcha want fleish AND milch? Because it's a Seudas Mitzvah, so you need fleish. But a responsible hashgocha should have guidelines for those common episodes. Remember I said RESPONSIBLE which excludes kcl.

According to one meforash, the chemah vecholov plus the ben habakar for the orchim was actually served together. The calf ran into a cave to save itself from being shechted. Avrohom Avinu didn't want to make the orchim wait so instead of running after it, he said Shem Hamefoiresh to make a new one. Fleish made derech ness is pareve. on Can't blame KCL for this one
A good teretz for kcl. Kcl never removes a hashgocha if you pay your bills timely & give some freebies to their administrator.

Why isn't anyone talking about Belsky doing away with the concept of nisalaym min ha ayin? He argues there is always mirsass when a goy is transporting meat that he is afraid you will find out if he pulls a switch and he will suffer repercussions. Gore shvach! The OU and the other hashgochos who hide behind Belsky's heterim are not requiring choisam.

So then what was the point of this whole sugya in halacha according to Belsky?

What's the issue if only the head table has fleishigs and the rest of the tables have milchigs? Everything is disposable paper and plastic anyways?

On paper it may look funny to have meat at a milchig affair, but in reality its no big deal.

Bossur Shenesalim Min Hayin? are you kidding? go into any caterers kitchen in Lakewood you will see Mexicans working for hours alone with unmarked meat without a jew in sight let alone a Mashgiach. The kcl does not require a Mashgiach for Lakewood caterers the only caterer who has a Mashgiach in His Kitchen is Greenwald Caterers because he is not under Kcl Hashgacha even the Jsor in Deal has a Mashgiach anytime a caterer is prepering food in a Kitchen. Gavriel Finkels Kcl Hashgacha is a Joke just like his nephew Moshe Finkel

It's very hard for someone to pull a switch on my fleish. I've got the only "kosher" meat treated with "low sodium" salt.

That is discrimination that KCL lets Mexicans have all that freedom. When it comes to me they try to separate me from the salami with plexiglass!
