Yudel, Rav Belsky is one of the biggest defenders of Metzizah Bpeh, has signed on numerous kol korehs defending it, there was a front page of Ami in elul where he said this happened in NY because mohels aren't careful with it (which ironically is what you are saying on him). This is pure libel without facts on your part. Call Rommie Cohen or any big mohel in Brooklyn and you'll see how wrong you are about Belsky (in this case). Or ask the editor at Ami for the recording of the interview. Or ask Bloomberg who Belsky spoke to a few times how they shouldn't stop Metzizah Bpeh. These are all well known public facts that any one in New York can verify for you. A non religious doctor who is against metzizah recently told me we all know Belsky's opinion on this....

Ahron Soloveichik personally told me that his zeide R. Chaim assered metzitzah b'peh. R. Eliyahu Zimmerman's father R. Mordechai who was trained in milah in Vilna was mayid that MBP was NOT done in Vilna. And there is a wealth of information supporting this position from other rabbonim of yesteryear, like the Mishne Berurah. This is not to discount those gedolim who require MBP. But it is far from universal. In fact, it is reasonably argued that the Rabonei Lita were not noheig to practice MBP-they used a kash.
Either position is fine with me. They are both normative halacha with a mesorah. I suggest that it is our lashon hara and nivul peh that has created a problematic situation with metzitzah b'peh.
And of course maybe it is reversed! The elevation of a minhag that most PoskiM, Litvish and otherwise did NOT believe was an integral part of the Mitzvah (see MB and Sefer Habris) into a must do part of the Mitzvah will put the entire Mitzvah at risk for tow reason. Firstly, many none Frum Jews are no longer having Brisim done, as they believe the Health Dept etc that MBP is dangerous, and Secondly by claiming that MBP is part of the Mitzvah of Milah, it will allow the Health Dept to ban the entire procedure (which we all know they would love to do anyway!)

Rav eliyashev, Z"L said one moy not rely on Rav Belsky's "heteirim", as it's not based on the facts nor on the Halacha.

Ram Catering does does NO jobs that are not under the OU.
Ram Catering STAFF does catering with other hashgachas, such as Passover programs.
