"DIPLOMAT & Kosher Gourmet hospital meals "Don't use"

The Kosher Consumer is being ignored- Don't use their certified meals.

The Kosher Gourmet & DIPLOMAT hospital meals Certified by Hisachdus CRC, & 5 Town Vaad, when heated in the non kosher facility the wrapping opens up, therefore  "Don't use" them as it is not kosher anymore.

Their Bagels have only one wrapping & the hospital heats it in the non-kosher microwave. It does not say "don't heat".

The Kosher Gourmet  and Diplomat hospital meals under Hisachdus CRCand the Vaad of 5 Towns, have the same problem. We wrote to DIPLOMAT & were ignored. The VAAD also contacted them to no avail.

When a kosher certifier & the manufacturer ignore the kosher consumer, you refuse the product & do your business elsewhere.

Be very careful with the Hivnover Rov Rabbi Friedlander who gives on several hospitals & nursing homes.

He was allowing one dishwasher for milchigs & fleishigs and might still be.

His literature is full of lies about mehadrin min hamehadrin chassidishe standards.

When people complained to NY State Agriculture about the treif situation at Maimonides he made a lot of upgrades but who knows if it was good enough.

Rabeini Yoel sat up a kashrus Organization, these fellas hijacked it. It's strictly a money funded proection machine. Kashrus is not their cup of tea.

But they don't respond to anyone. It's a good thing they don't read blogs (even before the asifa).

Rabinei Yoel(see Voyel Moshe #51) did not allow any of the atributes Hisachdus is proud of.

Unter velt nicks, prust n pushit.

Who says one wrapping is not enough for a microwave..... the oven does not get hot. And the wrapping does not get hot. And it is fully cooked before. And nothing is ever heated up there without being wrapped. And the remo gives several kulos for a choleh.

I haven't snooped around nursing homes under the Queens Vaad to know particulars but judging from how VHQ behaves in other places

once they decide to cover something up, it doesn't matter how treif it is

January 2013: BBC - Now They Prepare a Plan; MIRROR - 10 Million Burgers Removed; MAIL - Has Been Going On For Years; TELEGRAPH - It may Happen Again; HUFFINGTON - May Have Been Diseased Flesh

Horsemeat has been identified in some beefburgers sold in UK and Irish supermarkets, the Republic of Ireland's food safety authority (FSAI) has said.

The FSAI said the meat came from two processing plants in Ireland, Liffey Meats and Silvercrest Foods, and the Dalepak Hambleton plant in Yorkshire.

The burgers were on sale in Tesco, Iceland and Dunnes Stores, Lidl and Aldi.

A total of 27 products were analysed, 10 were found to contain horsemeat and 23 contained pig. Horsemeat accounted for approximately 29% of the meat content in one sample from Tesco. In addition, 31 beef meal products, including cottage pie, beef curry pie and lasagne, were analysed, of which 21 contained pig.

"Whilst, there is a plausible explanation for the presence of pig since these meats are processed in the same meat plants, there is no clear explanation at this time for the presence of horsemeat." a meat processor expert said.

Kosher Australia Melbourne - KAM, and its sister agency KAS [Kosher Authority Sydney] do not employ systems that prevent nor even dissuade regular on-going substitution of very expensive Kosher foods and ingredients, with far less expensive, and indistinguishable, non-Kosher alternatives. Random visits by a Mashgiach is inadequate, there is nothing for the Mashgiach to detect and nothing to be observed that will reveal or suggest that indistinguishable, non-Kosher substitutes are being used.

The problem is compounded in those eateries, owned and managed by people who are not Shomer-Shabbat.

These include but are not limited to:
LAFFA BAR, Hawthorn Rd
KLEINS GOURMET FOODS
SHEMESH PIZZA, Glenhuntly Rd
MILK N HONEY, Glenhuntly Rd
NOGGA CAFÉ, Carlisle St
OFF THE HOOK, Kooyong Rd
AMALYA, Glenhuntly Rd

The Shulchan Aruch (YD 118:1) rules that without a full time Mashgiach to verify integrity: meat, fish and wine must be secured with two Simanim (tamper evident indicators of integrity). Cheese requires but one Siman. Kosher foods delivered by those who are Halachically unreliable, require such Simanim to establish their Kashrus.

We all remember the very bitter catastrophe of the Monsey Meat Scandal which saw an extremely religious US Jewish community eating for many years, non-Kosher meat. The meat was sold in very Frum Kosher supermarket, owned by a very Frum, highly respected Yid, and was supervised by very Frum Mashgichim and a highly respected certifying Rabbi. Nevertheless the lure of easy profit was overwhelming and the Kosher protocols were easily falsified and manipulated.

Then you accuse: "cover something up.....treif..."

Is Rabbi Rabi just getting revenge on the other Australian hashgochos for being mefarsem that his matzos are chometz or does he really have the "goods" on them?

AFter only being open a month or two, COR Toronto terminates hashgacha on this specialty bakery on Bathurst St called Le Mille Feuilles Patisserie owned by the gabbai at a Moroccan shul

No suprise there.

Rabbi Rabi is probably huddling with Spotlight so that they can bashmutz the Australian gedolim running the other hashgochos.

As we all know, having a "rule" that you need mashgiach temidi for non-frum people handling meat can be broken at any time if Rabbeinu at VHQ or any other "MEHADRIN" hashgocho sees fit.

The VHQ crony who impersonates Spotlight is making a comment to belittle Morrocans becuase it's all Sfardishe he doesn't like, not just Bucharians.

The 'dray-kupp' from Queens is at it again. Telling Rabbonim in 'arbah kanfes ha'aretz' what to do.
