If you want to be convinced of the type of talmud chuchum he is, just look at his teshuvos. Don't laugh too hard.

Rav Eliyashev, Z"L said not to rely on Rav Belsky's HETEIRIM (he said don't call it a psak)because it's based on facts created in his mind & they are not the facts in place. And his Halachic conclusssion are therefore also not correct.
To Nechemya Schwartz Where is Belsky's yiras shomayim? He is the one who wrote a letter to arkaos so that the psak of a bais din was not enforced. You would think that when he is rushed to the hospital two days later he would have gotten the hint that he did something wrong.
R belsky admitted in court that he should nt have been there and yet he then proceeds to write a letter saying the bais din is 100% incorrect.

I was in Camp Agudah from 1963 through 1976. To set the record straight, Rabbi Belsky was not in Camp AGUDAH FROM 1964- 1970 (he was there earlier and later). he was in camp torah vodaas at that time. when he came back to Camp Agudah in 1970, he was not the mara D'asra, he was exclusively the Rebbe of the Masmidim. He did not become mara D'asra until the mid- 1980's, long after Kolko had gone to another camp.
