this year the water used to wash the workers hands in the Lakewood Matzza Bakery was warmthis is contrary to the halacha.
Will we allow it to be watered down.
RCC following in the steps of Kehilla Cash R Us who covered up the Ave J treif meat scandal?
Reb YudelDon't you agree this had to of been a usual way the masgiach for the RCC acted and opened the warehouse in such a manner on a tegular basis. On video one can see how he left the premises open for the the owner to do as he pleases. If this was not the regular way if him doing it this way, the owner of doheneys wouldn't be so comfortabale and confident to have his workers just unload the treife boxes. So obviously that's how he's been doing it..so for rcc to just say freaky flaw human error is an obvious scam..In addition the fact that the ou just has aarons labels siTting around who knows maybe even being sold on the black market says a lot about their hechsher too..
Seems like the "Kranke" got his directions confused. He predicted a scandal on the east coast and it ended up on the west coast. But thats nothing new to all of us. We knew all along that he is confused and "ah Kranke Neshomah" - Hashem Yerachmoy.
Please be aware that Agri hands out their labels on a regular basis to various stores so that the butchers can cut up and repackage their product.
The usual idyotten out there must be somehow blaming R' Yudel for this.Like the Yudel misnaged who shows everyone the old letter criticizing Agri and claims R' Yudel is "mufrach" for reasons that the misnaged's logic is elusive. The letter is already an antique but the misnaged is still showing it to people with his running commentary.
This sounds like bess must have to do with this he was caught a few times Allready playing around
Why do we not hear about local issues. The one Reb Chaim Epstein uncovered this year? There is something suspicious about someone who only finds specific issues to talk about. There may be negi'us involved which makes me suspect anything on this blog.
Yudel you were away for Pesach I guess, as we don't hear re: the scandall at the Lakewood matzah bakery.Satmar Dayan and his son in law Moshe Panet are bichlal not nogeya.Rav S.M.Katz is stam a .Rav Dovid Feinstein was afraid to say one should not eat it on pesach, so he said "it's not mehudar".Don't forget Reb Chaim Laib Epsteins chaburah caught the scandall.By not Chaburah? who knows what was going on?
Yudel, I hear that you were in LA about 2 years ago to see some shechita. While there you were seen at 4:00 AM & again in the afternoon near Doheny butcher with a video camera. Can you explain? You must have known something then.C'mmon let's hear as you say "the rest of the story".
"got his directions confused"Typical propaganda of the OU mashgiach to divert attention away from the scandals of his own mishpooche & associates in Kew Gardens & beyondAnd I didn't know that West Side Kosher supplies Doheny too!
Is CRC Chicago listening? You may have at least 1 possible butcher scandal in your area.Galil chicken- 40 cents less a pound?
Chicago .......... It used to be the most trusted. As of late I hear things are going down hill.
How can it be going downhill when it's "yeshivishe shechita"?
And I didn't know that West Side Kosher supplies Doheny too!Neither does anyone else.
http://forward.com/articles/174336/passover-kosher-meat-scandal-in-los-angeles-latest/Less than a day before the start of Passover, the phone rang at the Brooklyn home of Rabbi Yisroel Belsky. On the line were concerned members of the Rabbinical Council of California, a rabbinical association in Los Angeles that provides kosher certification, among other services. The RCC had just discovered that Mike Engelman, the owner of Doheny Glatt Kosher Meats, had smuggled uncertified meat into his store, and the West Coast rabbis needed the guidance of their East Coast colleague.Belsky, a well-respected arbiter of religious law, had a big decision on his plate. If he determined that all the meat was tainted, observant Angelenos might be forced to toss all the foods they prepared for Passover, which started on the evening of March 25.“People would have been served salad on Passover night,” said Rabbi Meyer May, the RCC president. After weighing the information, Belsky made a ruling: All meat sold prior to March 24, the day news of the alleged transgressions came to light, was kosher – even though a small portion was not properly certified. Passover was saved – barely. On March 24, the RCC revoked the shop’s kosher certification. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has launched an investigation. And on Sunday, the store was sold to businessman Shlomo Rechnitz, Belsky’s son-in-law, who vowed to ensure it strictly complied with dietary laws. For the untold numbers who bought meat from Engelman, the scandal constituted a profound betrayal of trust.“I’d say hello to Engelman if I saw him on the street, but I would not invite him to dinner,” said May, who also is the executive director of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. “I don’t have people I don’t trust in my life.”Avrom Pollak, the president of Star K, a kosher certifier in Baltimore, said his outfit frequently dealt with clients who tried to cut corners. His supervisors recently caught a caterer trying to sell non-kosher turkey to clients.“The rabbi remembered the kosher butchers in the area don’t kill turkeys that size,” Pollak said. “We asked to see the invoices and saw the top was torn off, so the name was not available.”Rabbi Menachem Genack, the CEO of the Orthodox Union’s Kosher Division, the largest kosher certifier in the world, said his organization was looking at new technology to help uphold dietary regulations.“Over the last few months we’ve been talking to people about whether products at slaughterhouses can be given a unique label,” he said. “There is a specific scanner that will be able to check each number assigned to each piece of meat.”(Genack finally paying attention to an old idea of Yudel Shain)
"And I didn't know that West Side Kosher supplies Doheny too!"That was obviously a facetious comment.Don't dare criticize West Side Kosher or their customers or else the OU mashgiach's spittle will start flying that you are "WORSE THAN HITLER"
Rabbi bess from LA knew about this a year ago .I guess he is very chushuv rav in LA so he can do what he wants !!!!!!!!!!!!!I can't wait till the truth comes out about him !
A lot of LA rabbonim are shmutzik. Look how they covered up all the years for the niuf of the Tendlers. And a chutzpah that they allow Sholom Tendler even now to be on the committee for the BMG Lakewood Shabbos.
what's with the California meat story? Freidman buying it, Report: “The Rabbi Who Saved Passover” Friday April 5, 2013 rav-yisroel-belskyThe following is a report from the JTA. We post it here out of interest to our readers. By Hisachdus, a Doheny scandal would never happen. Why? because they would never catch it, as long as he pays his honorarium fee on time.
