There was a press release announcing that the Rosh Yeshivas Kisei  Rachamim  will coming to the USA and be visiting Lakewood this week or next. It is very important to scan all the letters against him and post them so everyone can see who he really is. The people who brought him to Lakewood last year should be held accountable for taking advantage of the Tzibur who are not familiar to what is taking place in Eretez Yisroel.
1> All of the Siddurim with his Haskolah emendations should be removed from the Batai Medrashim and stores.
2> The Tikun Korim that he published using his own punctuation and ignoring the Mesorah of the Baleii Mesorah should also be removed.
3> Any one hosting a reception should be warned of who he is and be advised that that the reception is promoting Kefirah.

NEWSGedolei Yisroel Warn Against Series of Books Containing Alterations in Siddurim and Chumoshim

"Woe to a generation in which every man does as he sees fit. And the matter should be publicized to prevent others from being drawn in by their ways," write maranan verabonon gedolei Yisroel headed by Maran HaRav Yosef Sholom Eliashiv shlita, in a letter opposing the publication of "precise" ("meduyak") editions of Chumoshim and Tehillim as well as new siddurim and machzorim that contain grave breaches and changes from the accepted tradition handed down to us.
The letters appear at the beginning of a leaflet titled, "Ligdor Peretz," distributed in Torah halls and botei medrash of every stream and background. Gedolei Torah encouraged the publication of the leaflet to express opposition to attempts to introduce new versions and foreign ideas in what is billed as a "precise siddur" ("Hasiddur Hameduyak") in the nusach of Eidot Hamizrach containing "emendations" of the accepted nusach -- changes that threaten to damage the foundations of Judaism and cause breaches beyond our forefathers' imagining.
Similarly, emendations in the books Tikkun Sofrim Hameduyak, Tehilim Hameduyak and Hachumash Hameduyak were based on "rational inference" and "the rules of grammar," contradicting the accepted tradition practiced by Klal Yisroel.
The publishers declared their intentions to disseminate the books widely in an attempt to replace the Chumoshim currently used by all kehillos. The book, Hachumash Hameduyak, represents an additional breach by supplanting Rashi's age-old commentary with a new commentary called Peninei Rashi Umidrashim, which leaves out numerous entries from Rashi's classic commentary and includes other midroshim of the editor's choosing instead.
About ten years ago, following an attempt to publish a Chumash with a similar commentary, Maran HaRav Shach, zt"l, and ylct"a HaRav Eliashiv, wrote a letter reading, " . . . And this is a terrible breach that should strike dread in the hearts of all who hear, for who can predict what it could lead to?"
Talmidei chachomim asked to examine these books were dismayed, and when the matter was brought to the attention of gedolei Yisroel they were told the changes are cause for serious concern, particularly since the publishers openly declare that all of Klal Yisroel should adopt the new nuscho'os.
The letters written by gedolei Yisroel express unyielding opposition to the books, whose editors failed to heed various warnings by the leading Acharonim not to alter the tefilloh by abandoning the nuscho'os we received from our forefathers. " . . . And even more shocking is that they [grant themselves] the power, like Chazal, to issue decrees and to uproot, by omission, the nuscho'os of the Kadmonim" due to what they assert to be the needs of the hour.
Among the alterations was the deletion of the word "meheiroh" from the Sephardic nusach of Bircas Ahavat Olom before Shema. Although Shaar Hakavonos of HaRav Chaim Vital includes the word, the editors insist on removing it despite HaRav Chaim Vital's assertion it was brought down from the Arizal himself.
The editors also altered Oleinu Leshabei'ach, "based on the rules of grammar and speech," replacing the words "vegoroleinu kechol hamonom" with "velo goraleinu kechol hamonom." This alteration contradicts Rav Yehuda Hachossid and the Rokeach, both Rishonim who stated that Yehoshua Bin Nun formulated this prayer with exactly 152 words. This same "emendation" is recorded in the history books as one of the changes proposed by Nosson Ho'azosi, a talmid of Shabsai Tzvi yimach shemo.
The leaflet Ligdor Peretz quotes poskim from various generations who say that one should strictly adhere to the tradition handed down to us from our forefathers and practiced in Klal Yisroel for generations and who rule out making changes even in cases where the text contradicts the rules of grammar. Some poskim even write that one who alters seforim based on logical inference should be excommunicated. The various "medakdekim" have always been known for initiating dangerous trends that must be stopped to keep them from entering the botei medrash.
The rabbonim said the revisions to Rashi's classic commentary are in the spirit of the Haskoloh.
The letter was signed by HaRav Eliashiv, HaRav Aharon Leib Shteinman, HaRav Moshe Shmuel Shapira, HaRav Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz, HaRav Nissim Karelitz, HaRav Chaim Kanievsky, HaRav Shmuel Auerbach and HaRav Yehuda Shapira, shlita.
Appended to the letter is a note by the leading Sephardic rabbonim which reads, "We hereby remonstrate against the changes in the holy writings and the longstanding nuscho'os of the tefilloh, based on logical inference they invented and the rules of grammar, and particularly against the terrible disdain, Rachmono litzlan, in the nusach of bircas Ahavas Olom appearing in Shaar Hakavonos. And all the words of those who make changes have no significance." This addition was signed by HaRav Nissim Toledano, HaRav Yehuda Addes, HaRav Yaakov Hillel, HaRav Yitzchak Tawil, HaRav Amram Ruach, HaRav Yitzchak Zafrani and HaRav Yaakov Attiya, shlita.
In a separate letter HaRav Shmuel Halevi Wosner backed the letter by maranan verabonon and wrote, "Today nobody has the power to undo decrees by our Kadmonim, even through mere omission, and this sin marked the beginning of the attempts to innovate that brought destruction upon all of Knesses Yisroel."

It is important to be able to read and contrast different publications in order to arrive at a reasonable conclusion.

I would like to see a side-by-side comparison of these siddurim/chumashim to those of ArtScroll to determine where the changes were made, and then to better understand the reasons for these changes. Obviously, as R. Shain has pointed out, one cannot make changes willy-nilly because the mood strikes.

I have not heard of these new publications but I'm fascinated that they are the subject of hot debate in Lakewood. Here in Teaneck, NJ, where I live, I don't believe they have as yet made an appearance.

(btw, I am also fascinated by all the horror stories that go on in Kashrus. Baruch Hashem we have the RCBC here, which is excellent.)

PLease make a list of the "alterations with no mesora" in these books and then I will address every single one of these fabricated political claims.

For the record The Rosoh Yeshiva has the backing of Rav Ovadia Yosef, Rav Shlomo Amar, Rav Wosner, and Rav Nissim Karelitz.

The Rabbonim were originally coerced to sign against the Rosh Yeshiva by those with a political agenda (not surprising) and Rav wosner and rav karelitz officially retracted their statement in writing afterwards

I am surprised that yudel didnt do his research before slandering one of the gedolei yisroel. The above blatant lashon hara falls apart after looking into the matter in depth. It is a shame that there are some people intent on bringing eretz yisroel politics into the US.

Also these letters quoted in the article are from more than ten years ago by now there is no more discussion on this topic in eretz yiasrael as it has been realized by those rabbonim who signed that they were duped and fooled by askanim with a political agenda

The only "one" from the major kosher certifiers that eat from rcbc is Rabbi Genack "cause he's on the board. Kof-k, ou, ok, etc don't touch rcbc.

GET A LIFE ! He is accepted in EY. Regardless of this inyan and whatever you hold about it, to say kofer ba l'ir just shows what an am haaretz you are. If you ever met this rabbi you'd see how he knows all of shas and poskim, ashkenazim and sfardim. I hope you go see him, and get put in your place.

ראשית הקמתו של ועד הישיבות בוילנא לאחר מלחמת העולם הראשונה, בשנת תרפ"ד-1924, על ידי הרב חיים עוזר גרודז'ינסקי והחפץ חיים, ואיגד את הישיבות בפולין ובליטא. הוועד הסדיר את יחסי הישיבות עם השלטונות ודאג לגיוס תרומות עבורן, בין היתר בעזרת מגביות שנתיות מיוחדות. בראשית ימיה בארץ היו ראשי הועד עורכים בועד הישיבות פעולות רבות לטובת ציבור בני הישיבות, כגון בתי הדפסת ספרים ודאגה לבריאותם של בני הישיבות והרמי"ם בבתי הבראה מיוחדים שהופעלו על ידם.

במשך השנים פעילות זו הלכה והתמעטה, ופעילות הועד הלכה והתמקדה בהסדרת דיחויים לבני ישיבות בלבד. עם מינויו של הרב חיים אהרן קופמן ליו"ר ועד הישיבות הוחלט בועד לחדש את פעילות הועד בתחומים נוספים של עולם הישיבות. מטרתו היה לעודד ולחזק את בני הישיבות.

מדור מרתק נוסף עוסק בהיסטוריה של ועד הישיבות, ומביא את השתלשלות סיפורו של הדין תורה על צוואת הגביר חבקין שהוכרע על שולחנו של הגרח"ע גרודז'ינסקי נשיא ועד הישיבות בוילנא, בנידון אופן חלוקת הכספים לישיבות ע"י הועד. כמו כן מובא בספר סיקור מצולם קצר מישיבות ועד הישיבות בנים האחרונות והוראתו של הרב וואזנר זצוק"ל לועד הישיבות בישיבת הועד האחרונה שבה השתתף במינוי הרב קאופמן לנשיא הועד:

"זה דבר פשוט שהאסיפה היא אסיפה של צדיקים לשם שמים כדי לחזק את מעמדם של כל הישיבות וכל המוסדות של ועד הישיבות לאחר שהר"ר אשר טננבוים זצ"ל שבק חיים לכל ישראל, והי' לי הזכות שאני ישבתי עוד עם הגר"י אברמסקי והאדמו"ר מסלונים והאדמו"ר מגור ועם הרב שך וכל יתר הראשי ישיבות בועד הישיבות, ותמיד יכלו להבחין שכל הכונה היתה בלתי לה' לבדו מכ"ש בעת צרה כזאת כשיש חשש של גיוס בני הישיבות, צריך לחזק את הייצוג של בני הישיבות כלפי הצבא שיהי' בדרכי נועם בדרכי חסד ובדרכי שכל, ממילא הרגשתי חיוב להשתתף בכינוס לשם שמים בביתו של ידידי הגדול ה' יאריך ימיו ושנותיו, והקב"ה יעזור שיהיו דברינו נשמעים לעבודתו לזכות להעמיד את ועד הישיבות באופן כזה שגם במצב כזה יהי' החלק של הסגולה חלילה וחלילה שהבחורים יזכו שלא יצטרכו ללכת לגיוס, ובפרט שעומד על הפרק תורת אר"י כידוע מה שכתוב במדרש עה"פ זהב הארץ ההיא טוב שאין תורה כתורת ארץ ישראל, ואני רוצה להזכיר שכאשר בזמן החת"ס זי"ע ועכ"י גזרו הגזירה על הגיוס, שכל בחור צריך ללכת לצבא, ושם הי' קשה מאד, נכנס החת"ס לביהמ"ד ופרץ את ארון הקודש ובכה ואמר מה לך אב שהגלה בניו, מה יש לך אבינו שבשמים בזה שהכנסתנו לגלות שכעת אנו מחויבים ללכת. וזה הי' בחו"ל בערך לפני 200 שנה. ומה נאמר ומה נדבר כשהגזירה תגיע מזרע אברהם יצחק ויעקב, הבנים שפרקו מעליהם עול מלכות שמים עאכו"כ, זה היה אז, ולצערינו כהיום ועד הישיבות חשודים שמגייסים מאות ואולי אלפי בחורי ישיבות לשמד ממש של צהל. הם רוצים לעקור כל זיק של התורה הקדושה שיש בבנינו. וכעת מבקשים אנו מהקב"ה שלא יצליחו לשמד עם ישראל, ושיהי' לנו הס"ד להעמיד הדת על תילה, ולחזק הישיבות והמוסדות, ונקוה שבזכות זה נחזיק מעמד עד ביאת משיח צדקנו בב"א".

There are plenty of Koifrim In Lakewood. No one will really know if he is there or not.
