Wrong, as usual. Starbucks is a huge corporation - they function solely on the bottom line, on dollars and cents. It's obvious that the Star-K program did not translate into enough profit, so Starbucks dropped it. Corporate Starbucks has not a clue as to whether the Star-K supervision is good or bad, and moreover, they don't care.
If its true that Starbucks figured out that Star-K is a bluff then why couldnt they figure out at the same time that the place to go to is Reb Yudel Shlit'a ????Its a no-brainer ???
Didn't Reb Noson Zvi, Z"L tell Howard Schultz not to trust Star-K with kashrus?
No, it was Snoopy that told Charles Schultz to drink more root-beer.
