When RSBL explained to R' Elya Ber that they pulled that dirty stunt when he was away in EY, R' Elya Ber gave him a brocho that he should be considered azoy choshuv that it shouldn't be the only time that shysters want to forge his signature!

Someone spoke to Rav Shternbuch recently, he said the letter is a Teshuvah that is still relevant, then he added perhaps even more so now.
