He can scare the oylam as much as he wants with supposed tzu shtells about supposed Philly equivalents throughout history whose misnagdim were doomed. But notice he can’t cite a single instance of someone sanitizing mamzerim. I want to see Rabbiner Ribner leshitasoi defend Shlomo Goren. That will also tell you everything you need to know about his shilling for Philly.
