Klein's Naturals w/ heimish hashgucha-Others are removing product from the shelves

Klein's sunflower seeds were found to be infested.
Also their sun-dried tomatoes, raisins, dried blueberries, etc
Klein's & their Hashgochas denied the cold facts as fiction. The truth is it was checked& found to be infested big time. To ascertain which nuts besides the sunflower seeds one would normally ask Klein's, etc, But you can't rely on their answer.
 Hisachdus of Brooklyn
Many of the "Heimish brands" re-pack Kleins" nuts, which are a poor quality.
Aisle 9 & Farmers market in Lakewood area also uses Kleins nuts. Shoppers Haven in Monsey & many other places use Klein's infested products.

Kosher consumers don't be fooled or sketched by these establishments. Insects are a very serious concern, so is deception.

  2. Nuts are infested when they are low end ones imported from 3rd World countries like Vietnam.

When you buy nuts under a generic or drug store brand that's what you get and they are much cheaper than brand names for a reason.

Nice to know that Klein's "Naturals" is in the business of presenting themselves as high end quality when they are substituting garbage.

It's a type of fraud, naturally.

  3. Really disappointed with Klein's.

We bought a platter with no raisins or anything else with severe infestation concerns but got ripped off in my opinion. Not sure how they were counting to arrive at 15 minim. Despite what it said in the ingredient list, there was no esrog, no apricot, no a lot of things.

  5. Yudel, Sunflower seeds are tricky, it depends on how they weretransported , stored. Even Eidah's had infestation at times. It could be Kliens bought it, and it was clean, after sitting in a warehouse for a year, maybe they repacked it. Try to be Dan them L'kaf zchut.

  7. Most stores do not store them properly in proper conditions for these items, but seems like it's always easier to blame someone else
