Blueberries-infested? Rinsing commercial ones does NOT help.

  3. Sorry but they find a rotten one and say all are no good blueberries typically are no problem. I ahve never seen maggoits on thte outsied of my bluenerries. Obviously there are some that are rotten/ infested most probably sold at B grade shops. I highly doubt you'll find them in Costco.....

  4. The Grade A & the cultivated Blueberries are all infested with scales, Mites, etc
    The Organic, the B grade etc are even worse.

    One that is not experienced & trained in checking for infestation doesn't even notice the insects, what a shame.

    I dont understand why as all the major hechsheirim say that rinsing them is fine.

    And why, exactly, should I be concerned about eating insects that Moshe Rabbeinu, Rashi, Rambam, and Ramban would not have noticed and therefore would have eaten themselves?

    Because they were anusim, not having the benefit of the science of entomology, while we cannot make the same claim?

    And how do you know that we must be held to that standard?
