GEVALD- The Lakewood Cheder hall is using Agri / Aarons/Rubashkin. [you don't eat it at home, why at the cheder?]

The Cheder Hall is using "again" the Agri-Aaron/Rubashkin beef& Poultry products.

The Lakewood Oilum was outraged that new Cheder hall on vassar Ave. is the only catering hall in Lakewood that was using Agri-Rubashkin beef & poultry.  They refused to eat there.

Time to bring your sandwiches "Again"

KCL is of the erroneous opinion that the Lakewood oilum is not makpid on yoshon or kashrus.

  5. Is there a difference in reliability between the different hashgochos of Agri products? Do you trust Agri-Star more? Do you trust it when it has Shor Habor lable with Crown Heights vaad, I heard they are not mechichistim
How about when there is Agristar with Tartakov Bais Din? Do you know this Napko Rov from Monsey who is on some of them?

  6. is there a difference if he jumped from the 90th floor or the 100th floor?
The Agri company and it's hashgochas have serious issues of kashrus.
if you are in the desert with no food or some other emergency, the halacha requires one to ascertain "what's less of a kashrus concern", we hope one doen't have to as that question.

  10. You should hear what the ex shoichtim & mashgichim have to say about it. They wouldn't touch it even if that's all available.

Any shoichet, etc that tells an outsider what's going on gets a $5,000.00 fine, gets fired.

The Rav Hamachshir has the visas from the shoichtim, and sends the shoichet back out of the country as the visa status gets revoked.

  11. Is it true that Shloimy's doesn't have Rav Weissmandels hashgocha?
If so?, how is he using Agri, Rubashkin?

I thought KCL let Rav Weismandel kasher shloimy's use of those.

  16. Time to bring your sandwiches "Again"

About 1993 there were so many yungerleit coming to BMG's dining to farkoyf heimishe sandwiches, cookies, etc, that their veiber made for some extra income, that they started fighting over space. So the yeshiva kicked all of them out & that was that.

  17. BTW I noticed when I came home Gourmet Glattt also has Weissmandel chickens with KCL packaging Hechsgher.
They must be good, low priced & the oilam kaufed in Groissen.
The best are Empire packaged by company, & not fed antibiotics.
