Someones head must roll, perhaps more that one.
This is unacceptable of how the OK doesn't look out for the kosher consumer.

this does not make sense!!!
why did yudel bring in the OK when he hates them so much???
instead of bringing the kof-k k star k or OU!!!
Most important thing to share with the public is what are the implications for the other locations. Can I buy from Fair Lawn? Elizabeth? Which ones in.Brooklyn is this relevant to? Is it same owner or member of same family. Did the okay share with the other hashgachos who do the other locations
ReplyDeleteThe fact is that Yudel brought in the OK.
Why?
You'll ask all you questions by the Pesach Seder, you know there are four sons.
The one in Cherry Hill was certified by the OK, there were many kashrus issues and all of the locals said not to trust them, so finally the OK pulled out.
Very good track record for the OK, when it goes public about the kashrus, the OK pulls the Hashgocha even in "lean-times".
We think that Fairlawn and the Broklyn ones are under the OK-BEWARE
The one in Cherry hill was under the OK, The Manager was also the Mashgiach.
When on the job at the restaurant he was lax in certain areas,
פת ישראל, בישול ישראל, חלב ישראל, בת ישראל
Got the picture?
Hi, I are there a bunch of years ago. Can you say till when was the kashrut good?
ReplyDeleteCan you tell us the date the keys were given over to goyim?
ReplyDeleteNo problem with being lenient in Chalav Yisroel as Rabbi Feinstien permitted all USA milk based on the grounds that there is supervision from the government that renders it 100% kosher
ReplyDeleteSee the issue of the vet operated cows of 5-8% in USA farms, Reb Moshe wrote Teshuva that the milk is "treif".
ReplyDeleteThe Clown at the badatz of Lakewood A.K. is considering expanding his kashrus division. For more information you can phone the jokester at (732)886-9007 extension 4
ReplyDeleteBecause there are those avaryanim who confuse Bas Yisroel with Bas Keturah, there is a Rosh yeshiva who monns that anyone going for gesheft to China must take along a roommate to have a chavrusashaft in lernen in the hotel room. He says he got the idea from Rosenstock of Tomchei Shabbos who imposed the hakpodah on himself
ReplyDeleteWhat issue? There is government supervision on all milk.
ReplyDeleteThe ok is busy threatening to remove hechsherim for non kashrus related issues. They have a distinct way of blackmailing restaurant owners in order that they capitulate to their demands. Now the got caught with their pants down being maachil nevelos utrefois oon efsher gohr chazer oich.

Unfortunately because this site bashes everyone. Nothing is believed. So when such an important lapse happens they look at it as another bashing. Let's get more serious and the real issues will be believed
ReplyDeleteWhat are the names of the other kosher establishments that this owner owns?
ReplyDelete"Nothing is believed"
Shoin, another ostrich with his head in the sand
Are we all forgetting the Monsey scandal where "frum yid" who gave a daf yomi shiur did the exact thing??? It's got nothing to do with the owners religion, obviously.
ReplyDeleteThe Monsey guy is Yeshiva of Spring Valley President Moish Finkel!
Rabbonei Monsey should be ashamed how they deferred to all the protekzia & YSV's moitzee shem ra hatchet job on R' Yudel, while refusing to so much look at his paper trail!
A real hot shot besides his Daf shiur. Finkel also had a son in Brrrisk & was chavrusa of Pinny Lipschutz. I got a good laugh this past week as I hear that Pinny is now known as the "Shady Rebbe" of Lakewood.

What is he saying? Does he know?
Its a free bash opportunity against the oldest Moisad in Monsey.
Who cares how old YSV is? The gangster baal habatim there stole the place & kicked out the mishpocho of R' Shraga Feivel ztl who built it up from scratch. YSV now caters to borderline Modern Orthodox families. Hopefully there is less achzoriyus against kids with no makom now that the Board's stooge Yudi Frankel is out. As soon as Frankel found a Vizhnitzer willing to pay $1 million for his little house he even selfishly tried to abandon his shteller in the middle of the year.
ReplyDeleteYSV is your arey miklat. Let viznitz or pupa or Satmar take in the kids with no makom.
It sounds like you have some personal issues with some one there.
Moshe Finkel from Shevach Chicken had a Famous Uncle In Lakewood, NJ
His name was R Gavriel Finkel and he Ran the KCL Kashrus in Lakewood and a Bais Din called Vaad Hadayonim which is now Defunct
At least some of the Satmar mosdos in Monsey are very corrupt. They tell many without protekzia they are "full" but that an accomodation can be made for extra shakedown money that's between $15k to $30k - for EACH KID! If you switch your kids to other mosdos, these Satmar bums are notorious for badmouthing the kid & the parents, even making up lies.
M'idach gisa, there is a Zaloini gangster who has a sach protekzia, maybe because the Aroinis hate & publicly condemn his family. R' Aron even attacked them in a drusheh in KJ which he was grada correct to do so altz severe pirtzos in halacha. The issue was creating a psul yichus (which is other than mamzerus). Once the Aroinis attacked, Zalmi & Sachdis looked the other way. And this gangster's kids are veiter safe untouchables despite that his wife does not feer al pi Satmar takonos of tznius and even despite the fact that as part of his gangsterism, he has been mechanech his sons to be mechalel Shabbos durch hafgunos & vandalism.
be mechalel Shabbos durch hafgunos & vandalism.
We know which "braskeh' this is.
YUdel Shain from Lakewood was the original Hashgocha on the Manalapan chinese restaurant and the owner was KEN. Reb Yudel then brought in the OK as it was located in an area that may have needed a National name hashgocha as well. Reb Yudel did not allow the owner to have a key to the restaurant.
The Mashgichim had a number of serious kashrus issues, they called DYL of the OK, to pull the Hashgocha. Rabbi DYL said “it’s lean times, so we can’t drop any hashgochas”.
Soon after KEN sold it to his Cousin Henry.
The family has two kosher chinese restaurants in Brooklyn, one in Fairlawn, (one in Elizabeth) one non-kosher in philly. FYI- There is a restaurant Depot right near the non-kosher restaurant in Philly.
Soon after that, Yudel’s Mashgichim left the place and were replaced with the current one.
Every year before Chanukah, Yudel put on his blog a warning not to trust the Manalapan Chinese Restaurant
Reb yudel was there at least twice a week to inspect and check on the mashgichim if they are on top of the situation. Reb Yudel even forced the owner to dismiss his own mother as she was not complying with the mashgichim.
Two years ahead Rabbi DYL of the OK decided to allow the owner to have keys to the restaurant.
At that point, Reb Yudel notified DYL and KEN, that he’s leaving.
The rest is history
