Rav Breuer, Z"L on Kashrus-Hisachdus (Brooklyn) and Reb Zalman Leib will use Empire- as long as they'll check all Tzomes Ha'gidin - "Chimra", even though the kashrus is unacceptable

Background: When Rav Dr. Yosef Breuer, Z”L, announced the establishment of the highly respected KAJ Kashrus, he stated:

“I am founding a kashrus organization that will adhere to basic kashrus standards, without chumras or hidurim.”

He explained his reasoning:

If one focuses on chumras and hidurim, eventually, there may be nothing left of basic kashrus.”

Then the Chumras and Hidurim are irelevant.

Today, Bnei Torah and Yeshiva Leit seek high-quality products with a reliable kashrus standard—one that maintains authenticity without unnecessary chumras and hidurim.

Tartikuv Minchas Chinuch, Yechiel Babad, et al stands out stands out very much in this are of Chimras/Hidirim, but no basic Kashrus.

  1. Today we are all looking for the RABBI.
    Yes, the rabbi.
We are looking to eat that grubeh maychal that has the RABBI’S ok.
As in: my rabbi said it’s ok.
Or: my friends told me that his RABBI says it’s ok.
Or if the store Carrys it then some RABBI must of oked it otherwise it would not be in the store.
I’m told on site you always have to add: vehamavin yavin. Ok here it is..

    1. Yanky, you had to do that long winded beating around the bush for yet another of your corny, not funny jokes about Bloomie's grocery on Lefferts? Bezunder weird how you always think that Bloomie's bashing scores victory for the lousy Queens Vaad

  3. Rav says : “without chumrahs and hidurim”
But our Posek Acheron snuck in “unnecessary” thinking that the oilom will never chaap it and think that Rav Breuer said it when in fact RB specifically omitted that word to avoid the future “Yudels” “Rashi Comments” on what he said.
Can we trust ANYTHING he quotes here???
    Not honest Bnai Torah.
    Just another day at Yudels…

  4. What are the problems that are at empire that makes it unacceptable?

  5. So when Breuers gave the hechsher on Empire it was only basic Kosher nothing else. To paraphrase Reb Yudel.

  6. When KAJ gave a hashgocha it was considered kosher with no chumras, no hidurim just kosher. As soonnas yechiel Babad was in charge of kashrus at Empire, KAJ ran away, as there would not be any semel of kashrus.

  9. The Lolol guy totally missed the boat even though he's a self-described heisseh chussid of cRc Chicago! It was cRc alein who coined the term "yeshivishe shechita" which was widely ridiculed - because it doesn't make sense - until they got the message & dropped it. R' Yudel's cute response to that silly nothingburger was "what's that?"

  10. Hi it’s lol guy

I’m not a heise chussid of the cRc - I’m saying they’re good at what they do and they say the hashgacha is good = it’s good. Everyone here likes to find problems with hashgacha and create hock

Idk what yeshivishe shechita is either - who cares lol
