Krispy Kreme should not be consider as kosher even for Lakewooders that consume food at KCL certified establishments.

    1. And this is where ignorant people try to sound intelligent. The issue of today's milk is not one that was known to be in the times of R Moshe. The problem isn't akum, it's a question of treif.

  5. For those who unfortunately use cholov stam/akum/treif, then this store is better than Starbucks and Dunkin.
    The battle of cholov akum is for some reason lost in this ihr hatorah of Lakewood. That a store like ritas owned by a "Rav" can flourish in Lakewood is devastating.
    Kashrus standards in many homes in Lakewood is really poor.
    Can we also talk about the kashrus of the ladies mikva in town while we're at it? Learning the sugya of mikvaos does not make one qualified to build a mikva, while ignoring the mehalech of previous generations and years of mesora.
    Considering how many kids are OTD, can we assume there's a correlation? Kashrus and mikva are known causes as documented by our rishonim already.
