Strawberries- The ONLY ones that are reliable as insect free, is the KOSHER GARDEN Brand
Strawberries remain "Muchzak bi'toliyim" even after cutting off the top and soaking in a soap/vinegar solution and rinsing/washing well under a strong stream of water
because of the high infestation and that the bugs are inside and between the seeds no fresh strawberries with any hashgacha should be used . They should be peeled well and washed and then can be used like what bodek does with their frozen strawberries
Or peeled and washed ones
ReplyDeleteI would encourage anyone to cut off the top of a strawberry and rinse normally under water to post a picture of a bug. I’ll be waiting.
