I'm shocked that you noticed!! I would think that someone of your stature who obviously never had timtum halev from consuming devarim assuring wouldn't immediately faint after seeing a man's arm above the wrist!!
Isn't it the alef-beis that you need to check things out before publicizing them? How can you publicize an email without going there yourself to see if it is true?
Send your wife if you can't go yourself. But what is the heter to ignore basic research?
One must have access to reliable info without personally checking up on every item. I'm sure you must have personally visited every farm that you get your dairy from. WOW!
I am sure bringing it to the attention of the store would have been a better way to resolve the issue, but that is not as dramatic. R' Yudel thrives on drama, and doesn't really care about fixing the issues.
