Alert: Freeze dried fruit, i.e. raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, etc. may be treated with ascorbic acid that is not kosher Li 'Pesach

Fruits that were dried for 12 months do not have a concern of infestation, as the insects became dried out to a moisture content of 10-15% on average.

Fruits, i/e. raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, etc. that are freeze-dried are dried to a 1-4% moisture, therefore there should not be issue of infestation.

Kitniyos, not chametz.
Asorbic acid is not made from Chametz ingredients.
Anyway, isn't kitniyos batel beshishim??? No big deal.

Yoitzay min kitnious is mutar / OK lechatcjila according to Halacha.
Some have made it a Chumrah ??? not to use it. These days it’s as tried as pork for no good reason.

Is there a problem with goyishe hotel workers handeling the matzos without gloves last week? The shgooche has an excuse why it was allowed to happen. Is any excuse satisfactory? A Ruv who was there altz scholar, not shgooche, thinks that shgoochos mandating gloves is all optics veil ver veisst what the gloves alein are touching

How would R’ Yudel answer Heimishe Shgooche’s question?

They touch a lot of food on a constant basis, with or without gloves. They are usually told to wash their hands or change their gloves between parve, fish, meat, dairy, after they eat, etc.
It's preferred to stay home and not have a shiksas help.

I know of an instance where the hashgocho farentfered that they “ran out of gloves”.

Why is only the matzahs an issue. The whole fresseray is an issue.
Of course the scholars come for free therefore nothing is an issue for that Easter weeklong dress vacation.
