Among the "Serious Kaporos issues";More than half of the chickens at TAT and BINGO, arrive DEAD to the shechita of KJ or Mesorah
1- When you pay for the chicken, it belongs to you- Therefore one may not eat before feeding you chickens, so you must wait to eat till after the Shechita, which is the following afternoon .
The chickens were not fed since yesterday night.

2- When chickens are hungry they are under stress and will peck other chickens in the head, which may cause a "treifa" nikuv kirum hamo'ach.
3- The crates may have been thrown from the truck more that 10 tefochim, which may cause a treifa unless the chicken was walked "daled ammos".
4- When grabbing a chicken by one leg it may dislodge the bone from the socket and thereby cause a treifa.
5- Many chickens (25-30%) arrive back to the Shechita plant dead, because of no food, no drink, stress, bounced around for hours. So your chicken is a Neveilah!
6- Some Lakewood kaporos & shechitas located near the yeshiva, may be neveilos, & treifas based on what numerous knowledgeable individuals observed.
7- Some Kaporos Shechitas, (we'll schecht it later) use the chicken multiple times. Schwartz & Mehadrin (after verification) use each chicken only once.
8- Kaporos claim that the poor don't want the kaporos chickens so they send it back to Kiryas Joel and Mesorah and un-be-known to the purchasers they are buying kaporos chickens. לפני עור? is also an איסור!

The Mehadrin & Schwartz Kaporos is still the ONLY kaporos that is completely על פי הלכה ורב אלישיב ורב שמואל וואזנר זצ"ל & doesn't have any of the above issues.
The chickens go to עניים and to צדקה.
Some עניים would rather have a פדייה done and are given non- kaporos chickens.
No kaporos chickens go to any commercial shechita plant.
This system has been in place all of the years by Mehadrin & Schwartz Kaporos with Hashgocha.

not some -- all -- will resell the chicken.
and i dont believe them that they will schecht the chickens. they actually admit they dont give to poor ppl (legal issues with that, not to say they have to hire a shochet, etc.)
best bet -- go to "pollo vivos" ( = spanish / muslim live chickens, rabbits, goats) market which has a shochet. hard to find, but some do, on certain days.

Our Last Journey Before Reaching the Geula Sheleimah
Mommy, Mommy what can I say?
I don't know what else to say.
My heart is heavy.
My stomach is churning.
I feel something huge is coming, and I'm so excited about it. On the other hand, in the pit of my stomach I am so afraid. My heart aches, even though I know that Am Yisroel will be saved.
I am also so afraid of all the terrible things that are going to happen in this world. The evil must be destroyed. The evil is bubbling up and oozing out of every crack and cranny. It is covering the world. It is in the water. It is in the air. It is creeping into us, or coming out of us. It's everywhere. It's so thick that it's darkening the world and making the air thick and hard to breath.
We search for faces that still have truth in their expression. We search for other Jews whose faces are Temimusdik and pure and close to Hashem, close to the truth. We grope in the darkness looking for any small fragment of Emes. Those who search do find!
Soon with a strong wind Hashem will blow away all the darkness and all of the smoke and all of the heaviness of Sheker and of the Sitra Achra. Soon, very soon we will see the light of Emes, of the Geula Sheleimah. We will be able to breathe deeply once again, and be truly happy by serving Hashem 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and this will be the ultimate happiness.
But this year, Mommy, תשע"ד will be a year to remember-
A year of wars and terrible destruction
A year of violence and death
A year of hate and vengeance
A year of closing accounts and punishing the wicked for their sins throughout all of history
A year of economic collapse and social unrest.
We must remember one thing that can save us, Teshuva. Come back to Hashem in total submissiveness, with our heads down, with our hearts aching, with our minds ashamed of all of the Aveiras that we did against Hashem's great name, and come back to Him as wayward children do when they realize that they have gone wrong and want to come back to the truth.

Just picked-up food items from the COL giveaway.Many items did not have any hecher- only realized when I got home

Have a double mitzvah: kapparot and zedakah.

Yudel, your saying no kaparos ANYWHERE goes back to a commercial plant ? Are your 100% sure ?
Tudel has no interest in kapparot as in chickens the only interest here is money as in doing laparotomy for moneys d then Yudel will distribute the money to who knows who

OTD children. Including all Lakewood issue.
Pretty good for bunch of maybes.
All agree that if you have anything under hashgacha vs something without hashgacha go with hashgacha ( if the price is within the 10% or so limitation.
And as Yudel says, these twos places have hashgacha so go with them.
Remove the "Maybe's", and your left with many issues.
Is there even more of a billigeh price for a package deal of Lakewood Matzos chometzdik rejects tzuzamen mit the treifos / neveilos / nefulos Kapporos chickens?
If you take out the maybes then there are no issues either. It’s straight treif.
