There is an overnight Bais Yaakovish camp specializing in music & art that my daughter wanted very much to attend this coming summer. There is no way she can go once we learned it is under Star K kashrus. She is very disappointed but understands it is out of the question to eat from these overboard maykilim that probably every facet of what they allow to eat to assered by the gedolei haposkim.

Reb Moshe Shternbuch was not happy with a certain hashgacha in South Africa with the Star K picked up. Thus these letters etc may be a bit out of context. The real question is does Shain really follow all Reb Shternbuch psakim or only use the ones that suit him to criticize others?? Don’t forget that Rav Shternbuch has a endless amount of chumras printed by himself. Let’s not even talk about the unprinted ones. Which of course proves the already known fact that Rav Shternbuch is seeped through with Torah and Halacha which we can not say about this blog or its owners
Rav Shternbuch shlita is upset about many instances of Star K coming in to South Africa as a stalking horse to scoop up problematic accounts.
Mon Feb 17, 05:05:00 PM is just trying to downplay it all as a single event to dishonestly make R' Yudel look bad for reporting the truth.
Mon Feb 17, 05:05:00 PM is purposely misstating Rav Shternbuch's position of just how against Star K he is. I wonder if that goes bichlal megaleh ponim Batorah sheloi kehalocho?
The OU mashgiach of Queens (Wed Nov 30, 10:24 AM) has been smearing Rav Zimmerman on the internet & around Queens with his big mouth ever since Rav Z was still in Monsey & came out against Mordechai Tendler.
This OU mashgiach fights to protect all sexual perverts because that's what his own mishpooche is all about. And bifrat in the case of Tendler, Tendler is 1st cousin of Faskowitz from Queens Vaad who is mechuton of menuvol Bryks in the mashgiach's mishpooche.
The oilom is starting to get some vibes that Monsey Toisov is also part of this group - soon to be uncovered that he is some cousin or neighbor of myself - the OU Mashgiach.
I don't get the problem, didn't Sholom remove this issue from the Torah? Why can't this cohen marry a giyores if he really wants to get badly? They should learn some compassion from Sholom!
https://matzav.com/newly-appointed-tel-aviv-chief-rabbi-says-compassion-is-key-the-kohen-and-the-chalalah-cried-in-tears/ (Matzav's official rabbbic endorsement is Sholom Kamenetsky)
The appointment of Rav Zevadia Cohen as chief rabbi of Tel Aviv–Yaffo is being seen as a shift in tone in one of Israel’s most complex cities. In his first interview following his selection, Rav Cohen laid out a philosophy centered on connection rather than confrontation, sharing powerful stories from his work in the rabbinical courts and expressing confidence that even in Tel Aviv, hearts can be opened and people can be drawn closer to Judaism. Speaking on Kol Chai’s main news program, Rav Cohen described his long-standing involvement in the city and emphasized that he is not an outsider. “I was elected in 2007 as head of the rabbinical court in Tel Aviv and came to the city. I deal with the most sensitive cases in the rabbinical courts,” he said. He explained that his approach was shaped by years of handling complex issues such as lineage questions, divorce cases, and marriage permissions. Rather than taking a confrontational stance, he said his goal is to help. “I always say — I am not against you, I am with you, I am here to help you solve the problem,” he said, adding that “the moment the other side feels you are with them — hearts open.” Rav Cohen rejected the notion that Tel Aviv residents are opposed to religion. On the contrary, he said most people retain an emotional connection to tradition. “I don’t think most people don’t want to see a rabbi… every Jew has something emotional toward tradition,” he said. He added that even those who seem distant often reconnect during difficult moments. “In times of mourning, in times of distress — that is when the heart opens, and you just need to light the candle.” To illustrate his approach, Rav Cohen shared a story from the rabbinical court involving a man who had refused for years to grant a divorce, until he was eventually arrested in Israel. “He said to me — everywhere they called me wicked, they didn’t listen to me, I felt like I was nothing,” Rav Cohen recalled. When he gave the man a chance to speak, the situation changed. “He said to me — kevod harav, you listened to me, whatever you say I will do. We arranged the divorce on the spot.” Rav Cohen said the moment left a deep impression on him. “He held my hand and cried, told me ‘you revived me today, I felt like a human being,’” he said. For him, the lesson is clear: “You have to give every person their place, even if you don’t agree with them — to listen to them, and then hearts open.”
At the same time, he stressed that a welcoming approach does not mean compromising on halachic standards. “Our role is to preserve the religion of Moshe and Yisroel,” he said, noting that when something cannot be permitted, that must be stated clearly. He recounted a case involving a young couple who wished to marry despite a halachic prohibition — the man being a Kohen and the woman a “chalalah.” Ultimately, they accepted the psak. “They told me: if according to the law of Moshe and Yisroel it is forbidden, we will not do it — and they cried in tears.” Concluding the interview, Rav Cohen expressed optimism about the future of the city. “There is a lot to do in Tel Aviv, but you have to know the way — not with a threatening approach, but with pleasantness,” he said. He believes that this path will allow for bringing people closer and sanctifying Hashem’s name, even in what is often viewed as Israel’s most secular city.
i learned under reb sholom kamenetzky in yeshiva. he feels for the woman's predicament and is willing with his large heart to bend the torah. he told me many times that the torah is pliable.

We heard from reliable sources that many AKO members including the OU, OK, Kof-K, CRC stopped accepting Star-K ingredients from numerous countries.
Not accepting Star-K ingredients? that's old news. About a year old already.

Hmm R Shlomo.Zalmam and R Moshe Feinstein agreed with Rav Heinemann and R Babad's grape juice Shita and this is also OU POLICY
Seems like STAR K growth lately is bothering Yudel... Time to find another crusade...
Reb Shlomo Zalman said all of the Star-K wines are not biseder bich'lal.
Reb Mosh said? or MT said.....?
Opposite. R Shlomo Zalman was meikel with grape juice from concentrate, as was Rav Moshe Feinstein....
Yudel, why the fixation with STAR K?... Oops I forgot that is the whole reason for this site!
Which wines have star-k ?
Ceres grape juice is Star K

...make R' Yudel look bad for reporting the truth.....
R' Yudel always always reports the truth, the question is just how much elastic does his truth have? How far can one stretch it?
Some use rav shternbuch like they use LH free passes here.
Star K is also directly responsible for all the intermarriage in America and South Africa.
Maybe even the whole world.
(According to some quotes)
"Some use rav shternbuch"
Yet another adam gadol mached avek by the OU mashgiach in Queens because this gadol is not with 'the program'of covering up for corrupt hashgochos.
What else is 'new'?
There is a concept of "Achar Mayseh".
Thus taking advantage of a "achar mayseh" is pure am araatzutz on the user.

Some astute individuals are finally realizing the Shalom is full fledged "apikores", and doesn't even try anymore to hide it.
i learned under reb sholom kamenetzky in yeshiva. he feels for the woman's predicament and is willing with his large heart to bend the torah. he told me many times that the torah is pliable.
An Apikores doesn't have to bend the Torah, as to him there is no Torah, period.
