Baseball is a mainstay in many boys’ camps. Yet, not many are aware that a shatnez issue might exist within baseball gloves due to their materials. Numerous baseball gloves have threads and fibers made from a mix of materials, and occasionally, both wool and linen are present. The Vaad L'Mishmeres Shatnez calls on camps and parents to ensure that their campers' and children's baseball gloves are free of any shatnez concerns.
