What’s wrong with you? Do you think a few inconvenient facts will force a change from KCL when Pinny Lipschutz has relocated to Jackson & molded Sholom Mordechai as Klal Yisroel’s hero? And when the new ‘improved’ Agri is strong armed into town by the guy with a few bucks, Hershey Friedman?
I asked my local Rav, if I we could eat the ices certified by the KCL? He said if we would eat it with just checking the ingredients and without any hashgoicha, then you could use it.

We have in Lakewood the great kashrus deceivers, but with great PR. We'll just name a few, Y.A./C.A., U.N., Kehila Council/Fund/ Thumim/ Feingold group, Hirsch, Minchas Chinuch, Star-K, Y. Babad, et al
I think Yudel wants to allow Hebrew National especially in BMG. I don’t think Reb Shneur said anything about HN thus you can assume he would have allowed it.
