1) HR8404, the same sex marriage bill advancing through Congress is, coming up for a Senate vote NEXT MONDAY, November 28th 5:30. We must publicize, IMHO, how R"L it would nationalize the Gezairas HaChinuch/ Educational Equivalency Regulations threat, already well advancing in N.Y. Legislation for same-sex marriage, being supported by 25% of the Republican Party - 12 senators - (last Wednesday) would render it mainstream enough to escalate pushing indoctrination (albeit subtle) into Orthodox Jewish education (and certainly everywhere else) - as already started in Illinois*. We already see this threat in N.Y. State in wake of government commandeering religious education here.

UPDATE: De Ja Vu- BMG's KCL said for 15 years, Manalapan Chinese restaurant is reliable, may be serving treif butter at weddings

In at least one large wedding hall in Lakewood they may be cooking with butter instead of margarine, hence "Bossur Bi'cholov". 

Sometime after this past Succos, An astute invited guest (happens to be in the food line) walked into the wedding hall  kitchen (has a BMG KCL Mashgiach temidi)  and sees from a distance that they are ready to put in a few one pound bricks of (supposedly Margarine) into the kettle. He did not recognize  the label from the distance, he goes up closer and sees all of them 8-10 bricks are treif butter, hence "Bossur Bi'cholov".

He tells the non-Jewish worker "you can't use that", he responded the Rabbi said I could use it, finally he got real margarine.

The original case had 36 bricks of butter, some were missing from the box. He took pictures, We don't want to show the pictures as someone might be able to identify the wedding hall.

Why do Roshei Yeshiva, prominent Rabbonim say one can't raise children Bnei Torah in the 5 Towns?

Why Honeydew Honey is not kosher?

Shellac and confectioners glaze are also digested by the insect,

and is considered non-kosher יוצא מן הטמא 

Honeydew honey is made by insects such as Aphids, caterpillars etc. Ingest into their digestive system the sap from certain trees and then they excrete it onto plants,  that is יוצא מן הטמא, and is not kosher.

The mere fact that it's then taken  by the honey bee and runs it through their honey-sac "which is not their digestive system", can not now make it kosher.

 Subject: Frigidaire FPET3077 Problem

 Please alert any customers who bought the above model that there is a problem with the fan shutting off when you open the oven door, even in Sabbath mode.

 In order not to have a problem on Shabbos/YomTov, you'll need to find a way to hold down the switch that sticks out from the oven (like a plunger switch in a refrigerator) which is triggering the fan.  

Either find a screw or something to insert into the space where it protrudes to hold it down or buy some strong metallic tape (available at auto parts stores) or look for a strong thin magnet. 

The magnet may need to be taped in place so that it doesn't shift as the door is opened and closed.

 Frigidaire is aware of the problem and is working on a solution.
