Why doesn't the Monsey kosher consumers ask the restaurants to take the Hashgocha of Reb Binyomin Taub of Monsey-He is very knowledgeable, very organized, very responsible.

Everyone can be comfortable that;
Nothing on the menu changed,
None of the vendors changed,
Etc.
The only change that was made "HE STOPPED PAYING THE FAKE RABBIS"

Update: Empire- Alle / Meal Mart, kosher Valley, Star-K poultry
Rabbi Yaakov Reisman, Shlita says that he recommends everyone to follow the KAJ recommendation list for poultry sources.
There has been some significant kashrus down-grades at the Empire Alle/Meal-mart poultry process. They added Tartikuv's R' Yechiel Babad. They have again gone down kashrus wise.
The Empire, Alle and Meal-mart, Kosher Valley, Star-K are all the same product with different labels. Usually the Empire brand commands a higher price.

Update: Upgrades in Kashrus standards
Kosher stores, take-outs etc. have suddenly found a change in kashrus policy determining what they can sell and what they cannot sell, and it is emanating from their wholesale supplier.
West Side Kosher Meats is under the supervision of the OU and suddenly stopped supplying raw chicken livers for stores to sell for customers to broil, or even for stores to broil and make their own chopped liver.
Those establishments under reliable supervision who wish to process their own liver in-house must have their mashgiach fill in a special form guaranteeing that they will broil the livers properly, and submit it to the rabbi in the OU who oversees kosher meat and poultry slaughter. If he approves, they will be allowed to purchase livers.
But what is the story behind the story?
It seems that when a kashrus expert was recuperating in Florida from his bout with COVID-19,
he explored the local kosher establishments, and was shocked to see a supermarket under local rabbinical supervision selling un-kosherized meats such as livers and hearts with a statement they must be kashered but stating OU -glatt. His publicizing of this concern appears to have triggered a powerful response in the largest kosher supervision agency.
Update: After further investigation, the Hearts in the Florida incident were actually from a non-kosher kill aka "neveilah"

5 Town Kashrus Vaad- The secret is out
The 5 Town Vaad Kashrus Administrator always claimed the reason they have a relatively poor
kashrus standard is the "Rabbonim tie his hands".
Now when some Rabbonim are opening up another Kashrus Vaad, why should the 5 Town Vaad Administrator be up in arms and get signatures from 53 Rabbonim that he's doing a great job, and don't let another Vaad open?
It could only help him to Upgrade the 5 Town Vaad standards- unless it was not true in the first place that his hands are tied.
His infestation cleaning is completely unacceptable to the trained eye.

Monsey vicinity kashrus update- [The Rockland Eiruv is at a Din Torah]
Verdict- Kashrus will not improve in the Monsey area-The people don't care.
**************************************
The underlying problem with Monsey area kashrus is a Monsey based Organization
מבקשי כשרות formed soon after the Shevach/Finkel kashrus scandal.
They are so wet behind the ears in knowing basic kashrus. Their Mashgichim are clue-less to put it mildly.
They say now that they will work with Steinmetz's Hashgocha to upgrade his hashgocha, BTW- Today is not April fools day.😅
They are FAKE - KASHRUS,
Where were they for the last 10+ years?
What's about all of the other Monsey kashrus scandals that you never knew or opt to cover up?
It's what you do that counts, not your good intentions.
