The ones that thought they were using Bodek romaine for the seder, were unaware that they "nebech" ate Postive.

The small amount of the clean Bodek Romaine was what was provided to them by postive, this is done pretty often.
Zichron Shmuel kashrus are bunch of wanna'bes, their standard of reliable is they get jobs from them or other benefits from them.
The Blossom Romaine Pesach run that was denied by CRC and repacked by Blossom second hecsher under different name. And sold in tri-state. That you are saying isn’t good because no CRC. I seen hundreds of containers sold for Pesach Seder. It’s the same owner your family member and Mashgiach. Just precheck wasn’t approved by CRC. It was most available in all the stores.
It wasnt just bodek romaine that was infested but i was shown romain and other veges supposedly washed and checked by the biggest mumchim in 2 supermarkets in the tri state area where there were aphids and thrips in the supposedly pre checked produce. Besides for being michshal the public they also charged a fortune .

At a Heimishe Pesach Fresser hotel last week they put not mevushal wines on the tishen that the goyishe waiters ran over to cork for the guests. Almost no one noticed the status of the wines but the mashgiach did remove all such bottles from the dining room & storage when the 1st complaint came to him
The question is why isnt everything checked before it comes into the hotel it should not get to the storage room withoit the mashgiach fist going through the boxes
