Re: "ITALIANO" men's suits from Hat Box Dear Fellow Testers:
As you may know, these suits have shatnez top and bottom armhole tapes, and some also have shatnez taper reinforcements.
As you certainly know, removal of the armhole tapes is a very tedious job, and it is very easy to leave linen remaining. We have found numerous such suits sold by the store with the shatnez already removed and repaired without supervision. Unfortunately, upon examining their armholes, we have found shatnez left behind in all such cases.
We therefore urge our clients not to wear such a garment unless they have a label of a reliable shatnez tester.
