There are herbs that are מוחזק בתולעים that food service establishments use, the kcl allows to do a מעשה like putting the infested product into a blender, "whiz", good enough and they use it.
First it's an issue of אין מבטלין וכו' and other issues as well, the insects are not definitely disintegrated, etc.
Evidently the "oilum" is acceptable of this, because in Lakewood one is not allowed to ask, challenge, etc.
If you hang up signs about this issue in BMG and Lakewood should and Make the Oilem aware of this issue ..you will see how Quickly the KCL will change their stance on this issue
He gets it that you don't have to know any halachos or learning. It's good enough to know some code words like yeshivishe shechita, yeshivishe blend & how to dray your thumb.
My personal experience in lakwwod, I was doin a delivery and I saw a mashgiach checking leak, we all know leak is very infested. He didn't have enough light to see the color of the leak, he wasn't usin a lite box even if he had one.
He was goin thru it so fast, he sure didn't know what he's doin, and everyone ate a lot of bugs and shirotzim.
Dat was one time what I saw, I saw a lot of other lakwwo kashrus skandals, but I cant talk as i'll lose my parnusah. I would not eet anything there, I bring my own.
Doing a repair in one of the heimeshe supermarkets. Chinese making sushi with seaweed with star k on package. package Offering free samples opposite the fresh blueberries. Every thing under the kcl
Some of the kcl Shabbos mashgichim are knwn to get drunk on the job, besides that they don't have the foggiest idea what they are supposed to do.
The kcl has a shabbos caterers 'nightmare" set-up called a "drop-off" job, hence no mashgiach required as it's the strict responsibilty of the baal-simcha. The sad fact is that they still have the caterers workers, manager, utensils, hot box, etc "all with no mashgiach".
Lakewood's kashrus also allows doing the fish plate decorations to have them deep fried in the meat deep fryer. They say there is almost no בעין in the oil, so some might even not wait and eat the fries as parve.
They don't make a to-do if the non-Jews sometimes light the fire themselves, sometimes they are cooking a meal for themselves, and other times we could rely they they are really doing it אדעתיה דנפשיה.

You are funny, Duvur shyais loi matrin,
KCL is mattir it.
You can substitute "episs" for "yeshivishe". Does cRc Chicago know about this?
Please explain this article.
It is not clear at all.
Thank you

So you have OTD, big time.
My Rosh Hayeshiva told us that the one that decides on the ultimate kashrus acceptability is
YOU, when you eat it.
So don't blame the Hashgochas, including the KCL, who told you to eat it?
Don't be an Ostrich, put your head in the sand and everything will be fine.
Don't go like a lamb to the Shechita,
Protest, say something, demand, etc.

All that needs to be done is To notify the public
Fishbane from cRc Chicago is a Long Beach guy.

(What's that?)
You mean there's such a thing as a talmid of Long Beach who didn't become a barber serving the BMG dorms?

Is this a new Parnsshah for Reb Y....????

As Reb Yudel always says the only thing permissible to consume at a KCL Catered event is Filtered water in a Paper Cup
(maybe a plastic cup with bottled water is also good)

Speak to the Mexican Waiters at these Catering Jobs
Some NON KCL Mashgichim get drunk too as do some Hashgacha heads. For the ones who run a web site it occurs more often then not. Its quite apparent.
Drinking on the job?
Ich gloib nisht!
Reb Yudel.
One does not get drunk from drinking water bottles.

Big Shpiel, they allow a non-shomer shabbos Reform jew to be the chef, as there is no question of חתנות as he isn't a עכו"ם.
If you want to “get” the KCL just post that they fry chips for meat dishes in a dairy fryer because there is no בעין.
They don't make a to-do if the non-Jews sometimes light the fire themselves, sometimes they are cooking a meal for themselves, and other times we could rely they they are really doing it אדעתיה דנפשיה.
These standards are a bit of a stretch, I would say.
If this kashrus in the Ihr Ha'Torah, I'm not eating in any of their restaurants or catering halls, I'll eat at home.
