The observers may bring something to the Ravs attention, and it should be a publicized event-
The Rav is afraid that his mechira is questionable at best, then he hides and doesn't allow anyone to be present as one Rav in Lakewood has been doing for years, does not allow anyone to be present. Is the mechira valid?

It's know that the biggest buyer/seller of chometz in Lakewood is Rabbi Shmuel Blech. He goes nto hiding for his claimed mechiras chometz. Will never allow a living soul to observe the so called sale.
That's why many talmidei chachomim don't rely on his mechira. Wake up lakewood and smell the coffee.

Please be aware that Rabbi Shmaryahu Miller- the baal Koreh of the shul for over 30 years & brother of Reb Shlomo Miller of Toronto has been at the Mechirah for more than 30 years.
Rabbi Blech stopped inviting the public to the mechirah & divulging who the buyerwas when people started telling the buyer foolish comments, for example.....
1) What will you do with all the booze ? or Do you know that you own more whiskey than a liquor store ?
2) Why dont you hold the community hostage & dont sell back the chometz for less than $100k?
3) Why dont you use the keys & check out some rich people's houses ?

If Yudel is only posting R'mizas you can rest assured thats that is the only issue: Not enough green r'miza$$.
I know that in Krankland they have their own rules not necessarily parallel to halacha or not even perpendicular to practical halacha. Its just about Reb Shoimeleh "deh yoiresh fin Krankland Meleecheh". (If Reb Shloimeleh would of ended up in a real toirah place, "volt ehr gevain ah sheineh in baaleh bahtehshe roov").
But out of Karnkland it does not seem to be a issue to eat BBQ with or without beer on Erev Shabbos Koidesh. As long as one keeps away from the "washing" (or mezonos - if such thing exsists) Hot dog with a bun.

Ref Yudel has a very very simple policy: I DECIDE.
With or without Eretz Yisroel poskim of HIS choosing and of HIS version of the p'sak (and of course how it is skewered when presented to those CHOSEN poskim).
He can stand on his head and spit wooden nickels or Haddasim or Free water or attept to give hashgachahs on Peasach etc.
He has been pretty successful with this policy and, truthfully, One must be choshesh for his chishoshos. BUT, they are not binding. NOT AT ALL. Just look into his angels. (sometimes he is right).
The motto for the policy is: The Consumer MUST and has a RIGHT to know. (True to a certain extend - though not to Horav Yudel's extend)
Star-K list for Baltimore stores remains unreliable this year as well.
