Is that a dig at the “Torah ohn a Mesorah” org? (When will they disavow the Staten Island Rosh yeshiva speaking on their behalf to approve various moral aberrations that his own father poskened against, intermarriage, toyeveh, etc?) Meanwhile, with the Scoop report that the Lakewood Vaad is expected to endorse Ciaterelli, an online pundit is shotzing the Vaad up as the irrelevant chevra with the flip phones, LOL!

The “Modern Yeshivish” Los Angeles askonim really made a bizayon of the gedolim last night by shlepping them to the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills. How does this shtim with Keren Oilam Hatorah? The owner of the theater is Reform “rabbi” David Baron & his Temple of the Arts! He named the place lichvoid billionaire Chiloni meshumod Haim Saban who is married to a Lutheran woman! A recent major event in the space was the toyevanik “Gay Men’s Chorus” …

R’ Moshe poskens in the Igros that it’s assur to rent even just the catering hall from a kfirishe temple but that once someone did it b’issur it’s not assur to come as a guest. So certainly the askonim had no right to rent the theater which it’s a very famous zach that for the last 20 years the temple is the owner

Why is this a strictly Moderner issue? Lakewood Vaad figures have ‘claimed’ to have mystery unnamed poskim behind them when it emerged they were going against gedolei haposkim!

The VAAD was always anti-Mesorah, Anti-Torah values, etc.

FYI- DAAS Torah one can buy, for the right price.

With todays inflation it doesn't go cheap.

Despite R’ Moishe’s heter (for the guests davka), many rabbonim are machmir on themselves to not step foot in event spaces owned by temples. I’m sure several of the gedolim duped into coming to the Beverly Hills location with the shem hamechuar will feel sick to their stomachs that they were led there & going forward investigate locations selected by inzera “askonim”.
