*Rabbi Weisner's "KCL" "kashers" Foremost Caterers

A Lakewood based Yeshiva was having a small affair. The Gvir wanted to use Foremost to cater the affair. The Yeshiva had Weisner's KCL handle the kashrus. Foremost then told his clients "Foremost is accepted by "Kosher Council of Lakewood". KCL says they only kashered 1 pot for noodles. But in reality they Kashered Foremost Caterers.

As an asides: When Foremost caterers became certified by the Star-K, the Owner of Foremost decided for Business it pays to go through a conversion process (geirus) for his wife. Star-K's Rabbinic administrator when asked don't you have to now "toivel" the thousands of utensils of Foremost because there isn't any more a non-Jewish partner at Foremost? The Administrator responded "I don't recognize the conversion, so I don't require tevilas keilim.
When someone at Foremost was asked "why did you choose Star-K over OU, OK, Kof-K, etc?" The responded "even though Star-k was very tough e.g. seperate salt shakers, etc for dairy & meat, their leniencies on Shabbos & Yom-Tov was worth all the hardships".

yudel I am not trying to say that Star K is good but what is the problem with saying they dont recognize the conversion ? Indeed its not a kosher conversion. IS she shomer mitvos etc? So in that case she really is a goy

Anon 8:36 am,

You don't have a problem that R. Heinemann will do business with intermarrieds just to make money?

And agav, R. Heinemann is the EJF affiliate in Baltimore.

When R' Shlomo Zalman said Star K is being gorem intermarriage, ain lecha intermarriage gedola miEJF.

Why did you remove the other KCL items? The shvartza salami ganev is also threatening to sue you?

For the record...
In boro-park and in some parts of flatbush they are also "lenient on Shabbos" so why only blame the star-k.
Most of those Rabonim that their hashgachas are good even for the "Shain'icks" are pretty lenient when it comes to Shabbos.

The same is with salad garden from gelbstein's he got once kcl on salad garden "CATERING" and he keeps on advertizing misleading that kcl gives hasgucha on the salad garden "STORE" too,

But never saw ad from salad garden clearifying that only Rabbi Gissinger gives on the salad garden "STORE"

I don't think the Queens stuff was the reason because only one of the two removed posts had those comments. Besides that criticism of hashgochos is allowed here.

Speaking of the salami ganev, I have always heard mentioned in the velt arein that when you have workers in a restaurant, you have to give them episs something to eat altz lo sachsom shor bedisho. Not sure if it's a joke.

I know that Kosher Delight in Flatbush gives free meals to workers except they can't take any expensive dish like steak.
