You seem to be disputing with your quotation marks that it was really eliminated. But why is it an issue? Unless you eat the salmon with the skin still on and ignore the sea lice which are quite large, no one is consuming these shrotzim.
Be careful with packaged lox to read all the small print on the label. Most lox is farmed but some selections are WILD which have the anisakis worms & are present even in thin slices.
