Stop & Shop Supermarket has a good batch of black-eye peas. Check the dates though they usually have a year from what I have seen, so take the freshest possible. They still need checking though.
Some will come to the top, after that it may help to boil a few minutes, then open & check. JMHO.
All beans & peas should be fresh & then kept in the fridge, & that doesn't mean you won't find a dead roach ant or other insect in the bag.
The only company I have seen make a ready made simanim plate is under hashgocho of Babad 20th Ave, not exactly the biggest nizhar among hashgochos. The manufacturer is a Gerrer chosid though. Wonder if he checks properly on his own.
en im Yirtzeh Hasem you are kallahs and you go to your Chassanim for Shabbos. You will go to Shul and when you seat yourselves in the first row mispallelim will turn and say This is the hadracha in Lakewood.
I spoke to the Hanhala and was told that there is assigned seating for Mechubadim in the first two Chabura rooms. I am not talking about Kavod I am talking about basic Derech Eretz. Children do not belong oiven uhn. Our girls are taught to stand up at a chupah when a rav is called for a bracha but they do not understand that they should be getting up for anyone older than themselves. Derech Ertez Kadma LaTorah.
Rebi Nehorai taught: The generation in which Ben Dovid will come the young will embarrass the old, and the old will rise for the young; ..Reb Nechemia taught: The generation in which Ben Dovid will come, insolence will increase, respect will be missing ...

Moshiach is coming.
Moshiach is coming.
Moahiach is not only coming. We are actually brining him by not getting up for the elders.
Rebi Nehorai and Reb Nechemmia do say that this must occur when moshiach comes.
So no excuses now for not coming.
If all the hashgachas are no good what makes YOU better then them??
Maybe your recommendations are 'full of baloney" as well??
Where is it 'gehshribin' that your as close to G-D as possible??
Your "inquiry" sounds more like an answer than a question. (i.e. You'd rather not be "bothered" with any factual information about infestation.)
If bugs were cashable for "big money" Yudel would be bothered day and night with the most meticulous inquiries on where to find them because HE KNOWS best where to find them!
Last year at the last minute the Monsey supermarkets all came out with simonim plates for rip off prices & who knows what level of infestation as it's difficult to pin those hashgochos down with all the mixed signals they issue from item to item during the year.
You mean all the banned foods are banned even with the trio hashgacha of Vay, Goldstein and Green (VGG)?
Black Eyed Peas is also treif music. It's the name of a goyishe rock band which very oddly has these lyrics in one of their songs: "Mazal Tov, L'Chaim".
A certain "kiruv" org run by a Modern Orthodox rabbi who doesn't listen to any gedolim and has done many problematic things which loi zu haderech for kiruv, produced a music video that spoofs the Black Eyed Peas song. It's a shame that this "kiruv" endeavor supposedly trying to make people 'Shomer Shabbat' is something assur to watch as it features women singing & dancing with men
Canned black eyed peas from GOYA too?
ALL black eye peas are infested, even the ones with Hashgochas.
Canned black eyed peas from GOYA too?
We do know Goya is the freshest
Papaya (Carica papaya) is native to Central America and exists in tropical and subtropical areas throughout the world. This large, short-lived perennial plant with a single trunk can reach up to 30 feet at maturity. A papaya plant will last approx 20 years. Hence it's HoEitz!
The shomer Shabbat song is silly on top of the krumkeiten: "Let's go home & eat a huge matzoh ball". The #2 rabbi in the org stars as one of the actors in the video. He looks slightly Charedi but he is not. Maybe Rabbi Bender knows him. The hashkofa of the org is not only should freye be sought out in every G-d forsaken type of place but these rabbis lower themselves to the goyishe behaviors to appear 'cool' to the potential BTs. This is completely wrong. The Anshei Knesses Hagedolah said we attract neshomos through mediums of kedushah & that's how the BTs stay & vaks greater.
All commercially grown Papaya that one makes "Ha'eitz" is "vadai-Orlah" and may not be eaten in Chutz La'uretz.
The trees are cut down between 24-30 months.
So changing the bracha to Hoadama wont change the metzius of the issur Orlah! It's life expectancy is 20-30 years! It's a tree. Calling it a plant won't be mattir Orlah.
From Google:
"Papayas can live up to 25 years, with an average lifespan of around 20 years or so. Due to its lack of proper woody growth, fruit production typically will decline as the tree ages. If yield is the goal, it is recommended to replant papaya trees every three years for optimal fruit production."
The Papaya issue was dealt with in the past, and it was detirmined tgat a tree must have seven critereas, otherwise it's not a tree. See the Divrei Malkiel on the subject.
"Let's go home & eat a huge matzoh ball ... through mediums of kedushah"
I taayna this is nisht ken steereh, it's pshat in unzerreh heiligeh Convention!
