CRC put out an alert before Pesach that all romaine is much more infested that usual, including Andy Boy Hearts.
The ORB (Florida hashgocha) put out the CRC alert on the first day of Chol Hamoed, while giving a Pesach hashgocha to many hotel, many caterers, etc. without being aware that it's heavily infested.
Shocked? NO- the ORB is consistent.
It is suggested that everyone should do a cursory check prior to use.
Rabbi Eisen of the 5 Towns Vaad is very much at fault, single handedly has brought down the quality of kashrus in the entire industry of infestation, etc.

The Eisen comment was really REALLY necessary.
It was so necessary so that now the readers will take it more seriously.. As in serious motzee shem rah and/or loshon horah. Probably a bit of nekamah (For who knows what shtus) included as a bonus.
One of the local heimishe supermarkets has been purposely clearing out their chometz garbage that due to expiration dates is not even viable as chometz - to sneak on to Pesach orders for home delivery - hoping that enough customers won't notice to make it worth their while! These are items that are difficult for busy consumers to see the chiluk tzevishen the chometz & Pesachdik packagings.
For those who do notice, they give you absurd, insulting excuses how it happened. The metzius however is there is no "accident" even al ydei the Mexicans because the store did not implement safeguards to prevent it. It's also with way too many items for the bogus excuse to hold any water.
Then for the nisht farshloffena customers they give you the run around when you demand they fix it. They basically slap you in the face in mumbling they are too busy to take care of the problem. They also cause other problems until they finally pick it up. Grada interressant how they insist on picking up even expired, spoiling perishables that are illegal to restock even when unexpired! It's part shtick to deny you a refund if you already threw it out, and part shtick to find a new paying sucker. They might be making double profit because they don't seem interested in refunding the first round of victims either.
This supermarket which has otherwise been the biggest culprit of genayvishe kuntzen during the pandemic will be identified here after Yomtov whether or not they end up issuing refunds for this spoiled chometz scam.
Rabbi Eisen wasn't strong enough to stand up to the bandits who pose as the 5 Town pulpit rabbis & hold a gun to his head to be mechanef their gourmand members.
The so called rabbonim are the bigger culprits. At least Rabbi Eisen warns bnei Torah it's not their standard. And Rabbi Eisen alerted the adam gadol R' Elya Rominek, who was moyche against the pulpiteers & RER also tried to get the gedolei Eretz Yisroel to make a tummel, flying out there for that purpose.
Rabbi Eisen is no sleazy tool who will do or so anything corrupt, unlike the shvantz at a neighboring hashgocho.

Yu got it wrong, Rabbi Eisen is the DON of the 5 town's (53) Rabbonim, he is a fraudster blaming the Rabbonim, while he leads the Rabbonim on a "leash", yes a leash.
He has and is the biggest hinderance to real kashrus while playing the "frum card".
Rabbi Eisen is employee of the pulpit rabbis with at-will employment whereby they can fire him & certainly they're not mechuyev to renew his contract. They only renew him because he is machniya enough to their liking.

Ask GG Five Towns, or Aisle 9 in Lakewood why they buy Refresh products. (Some re-brand them). It is because Refresh is the only company which is consistent and can always fill their orders.
For example, nobody was able to clean kale in the past few weeks. It was infested. But Refresh had it the entire time!! They are the only ones who are consistent, so they make the $$.
There is also a reason why they are always consistent. That is because they are selling infested product. In this industry, it is impossible to always have every product. There are better seasons and worse seasons.
And that is how Refresh was caught.
The stores knew about it, and didn't care. They need the product to sell, and nobody else was able to fill their orders.
The checker at Refresh also knew about it, but he needed the money.
They are trying to clean up the operation there. But that did not happen until Reb Yudel went public about it.
So now that Reb Yudel went public and all is good, as you imply, why is the Refresh post still up???
Obviously it’s only a story to terrorize establishments that he hates.
Not only that, he must MUSTtake a swipe not only on the hashgacha but also at checker AND accuse him of purposely letting go because of Money.
That’s not how our gedoilim and Poskim go about issues. Not here and not in Israel.

Reb Yudel did not mention the checker by name. He only mentioned a rav hamachshir who is keeping this checker in business and promoting his products.
The checker himself happens to be a pretty good mumcha in tolaim, who was trained very well. However, the shoichad $$$ was y'aveir and he is selling products which he knows are infested. He was caught by more than one person, including by the hashgacha which officially certifies him. (He was caught by them as a direct result of this post. It caused them to do a better checking on their own, as opposed to being soimech on the checker who is profiting from this.)
Although I do not know Reb Yudel's intentions, I do understand why this post is still up.
It is true that this post caused awareness, however the "bad guy" checker is still the primary checker, and is still on site running the business. Those that know him, and those that trained him are in shock and say this checker "went off" somewhere. Until he is fired, this post should be pinned on top. Someone who is not a yarei shomayim and was already machshil thousand of people, has no place being a boideik for tolaim.
So he is a good checker that lets insects through into the finished product.
So what makes him a good checker?

I totally agree that this site started and run by Reb Yudel has brought a tremendous awareness of kashrus into the oilom haToirah and far beyond.
Not only in the food industry but in many other “kashrus” areas.
However, the style of getting personal, mentioning names (for any reason), not taking ‘other’ pesakim into consideration and stam other non essential details are totally unnecessary and borders on many other halachic issues. Although an attempt to “kasher” these issues are always promoted here (which really goes against what this site stands for) the fact remains that if any food item had these kind of “hetairim” Reb Yudel would go “ballistic” on anyone relying on such hetairim. So why would this site rely on such hetairim for other halachic issues?
Hence this site is a bit a “stirah minay ubay”.
Bottom line : Go Reb Yudel Go....
The OU mashgiach is back to his old original tricks when he first made a splash on these pages, in the shanim kadmoniyos. Because R' Yudel is on to a REAL and PRESENT DANGER perpetrated by 'establishment' kashrus bums, the mashgiach starts carpet bombing to drown it out by attacking R' Yudel's credibility & creating a conspiracy, that R' Yudel is supposedly in cahoots with alleged 'nebichels'.
