There is a glaring omission in the list of local Rabbanim (lightweight attention seekers) that of Horav Mendel Achpur shlita. Until such time that he signs all are to take extreme caution !!
Yankel Bender has been instrumental in spreading תורה הקדושה and certainly is deserving of credit for that. He is not a Posek or a noted תלמיד חכם and thus one wonders why the Bais Hvadd posts his approbation in large and on top of the proclamation. It would seem that the Bais Hvadd is trying to get the sheep to stay in the coral and or trying to win a popularity contest
The constant barrage of pay to play messages from the Bais Hvadd is highly disturbing. I don't think it assuages anyone's concerns about the Bais Hvadd. On the contrary, the consistent need to defend itself is most disconcerting. The results of an attitude of "my Rabbi is bigger than your Rabbi" leaves the average individual bewildered and at a loss of whom to trust. This is a calamity, worthy of attention.
i am not on either side but if you dont know many of the rabonim on there are very big adn well respected by ALL. i am not even from lakewood and i know some of them. You dont know rav henoch shachar? starting with the basics
Yankel Bender is with the oylam Hatorah??? Oh! Because when he boasts about Darchei "Torah" to the moneyed Lawrence crowd, he emphasizes that it's a prep school for Harvard (or at least he was before the Hamas pogrom opened a snif there)
The nerve of these people questioning Yankel's credentials!!!! Are you not aware that he was wearing a frock - even before the Lakewood Matzos Bakery photo ops was a zach????
Some say the frock is because he consumed too many matzos aside from the exquisitely catered nightly dinners as such, your proof of his exalted position is faulty. Try again! 😞
