Coffee filters use some sort of starch to give it body. The starch may be from chometz, legumes, etc e.g. wheat, corn, etc or it may be from potato or tapioca among some other ones.
We haven't been able to ascertain which filters if any are kosher for Passover.

Any comment about the kashrus claims being made by the Dr. Praeger's fish company?
That they are the only company to use dedicated kosher fryers when even heimishe companies use fryers for treif.
That there is no cheshash of worms. (Is this a trick that really means there is no problem because they follow Rabbi Belsky?)
soME TIME BACK bLUMENKRANCZ ob"m CLAIMED THEY WERE ok THEN. i HAVE AN OLD STOCK FROM THEN WHEN DID IT CHANGE?
Corn is not chometz
If you're so concerned about the kashrus claims of Dr. Praeger's fish company, why don't you contact their rav hamachshir, instead of posting innuendos.
Boruch Hashem, Rabbi Ungar is around, and can be contacted directly. When you do so, please share with us the information you receive and your personal impressions.
Thank you for choosing Melitta. We are always pleased to hear from our consumers.
Our Product Manager has informed me there isn’t starch in Melitta’s filter papers.
