House flies lay their eggs on "protein", e.g. meat poultry tuna salad, etc. Always keep meat, poultry, tuna covered as the house fly may lay as many as 150 cream colored eggs at a time. They will do it in a flash.

Is this for safety or are you being machmir like the rambam about toloei basar shchuta?
And how did the story not get out that they had a scandal & recall for chronic wasting disease which is basically the same as mad cow disease?

The 44 tons of rotting bison meat was found in this South Dakota town after the building owner moved the business to Minnesota and the power was shut off. By June 2009, it was readily apparent that the business owner had left something behind. Now Bridgewater officials are seeking clean-up costs from Ilan Parente, the owner of Bridgewater Quality Meats. Ilan Parente moved his business to Dawson, Minnesota in January 2008, closed the bridgewater facility. In December, 2008, the power was cut to the building, which, unknown to Bridgewater residents still housed a considerable quantity of meat. By June 2009, the entire town was aware that there was a problem. The sights and smells were reportedly too much for the specialized cleaners brought in to deal with the meat left in the abandoned freezer, so 18 municipal staff took over the clean-up, which cost over $11,000. Officials say that not only does the Parente owe for the clean-up, he also owes over $14,000 in unpaid taxes.
In June, Parente said he was sorry for the odor, but denied that the meat was a health hazard. Parente had sent the original cleaners, the ones who could not deal with what they found. Parente is said to no longer be associated with the company. His phone number is no longer in service and his lawyer refused to speak to the press. The business had been slapped with a law suit because of problems with animal byproducts clogging up Bridgewater's sewer system. The civil case is still unresolved. Bridgewater Quality Meats is listed as a provider of kosher lamb, bison, and organic beef. When Parente moved the facility to Minnesota, he changed the name to Noah's Ark also a kosher processing facility. A Dawson agriculture news article said that Parente moved his business to Minnesota because the Minnesota facility was larger and allowed the business to "quadruple" its output.
Bridgewater Quality Meats were sold under the Solomon's Finest Glatt Kosher Meats. Noah's Ark has continued to use that label. Noah's Ark meat had branched into Elk, and there was a recall of elk meat that had been processed by Noah's Ark earlier this year after one elk that was processed was confirmed to have Chronic Wasting Disease.
I have a come across something that is mamash disgusting and has ramifications for kashrus.
There is a foreign country with three rabbonei machshir. I'm not sure if many of their personally supervised products are making it to America and if they are contractors for American hashgochos. Two of them are 100% involved with an about to be described outrage, and the dritter has some kind of connection also but I have not seen any proof if he also completely involved.
These rabbonei machshir are also shul rabbis in this country I can tell you it is assur to daven in these places if you are a visiting mashgiach or businessman. You are better off staying beyechidus than to expose yourself to what goes on here. You will be in for a big yerida in ruchniyus chas vesholom.
I do not want to name the place because I am afraid more people will be drawn to it than stay away from reading what I will describe. I will email a link to R' Yudel so that he can warn people on a case by case basis.
I got the first hint of this G-d forsaken place when someone I know through gesheft started liquidating his assets and planning to move there. He is nebich not frum for a long time already. He once learned in some kind of yeshiva in Williamsburg. His mishpocho is absolutely despondent. He has no shame telling people what motivates him to move there. Besides that the US dollar goes very, very far with buying power there, him and all the chevra like him live in a gated community of mansions for little money. He is open about how women in this place are very easy to get, even for a zaken who needs someone to take care of him.
I recently learned that an entire group is there with this cheshbon, from freyer to yeshivish and even chassidish backgrounds. They have a silly heimish sounding name and a website for their chabura. Their appointed leader who they call their "unoffical rov" is someone who I knew in yeshiva. It was a mystery until now where he had disappeared to. He originally learned in a yeshiva that can be compared somewhere between Tiferes Elimelech and Bobov. He ended up in a yeshiva that is considered very elite. Him and all the rest of these avaryonim are shown in their chabura website pictures with their shiksas and the children that the shiksas r"l bore from them.
These avaryonim are there to be mamalei their tayvos bekuma zekufa and the local shul rabbis / rabbonei machshir are very accepting and accomodating of them and their extended "families".
As shown on his Facebook page, the chabura's "unofficial rov" took his shiksa & kid to visit the Kosel! The kid born of the shiksa he named Pinchos. PINCHOS !!!!!!
How any rabbonim can be so welcoming of this group that openly live with their shiksas like that is pilei ployim! You see it on the websites of the shuls that every one of these avaryonim has an improperly dressed shiksa on his arm.
I keep thinking over & over what R' Shlomo Zalman ztl holds about some hashgochos making up improper loopholes in bishul akum being gorem from above exactly this kind of sickening display. The main culprit, namely Star K, has operations in that country.

What's the big deal? Bagged romaine also has extra protein
How long does it take for the eggs to hatch into maggots?
