The advantage of not putting Seforim back is pretty simple. I see a nice vort or shtikle tairah and I want to use it in my “show off - know it all” drasha so I don’t return it so that no one else can see it or steal it. Gevaldik. It’s good for shiduchim for MY children and it’s good for my EGO. I fully understand that you don’t chap vos tootzach dah but I’m a potential Rosh HaYeshivah now. All by not putting back the Seforim. I’m now that Godol baTairah that they wished and bent he’d me all my life in cheer and in high school. B”H I reached this exclusive Madreigah.
